    Dude, you are ridiculous

BWJ is a tremendously objective poster and has been for years. I have never seen him pick a fighter to beat Tyson who wasnt qualified to do so. You make it sound like he says "Mac Foster KO1 Tyson"

And the truth of Tyson is this: IF... IF you can stand up to him AND you have great skills and mental and physical durability you have a good chance of beating him... In the Heavyweight Tourney MM thread that Hut*Hut (another standout poster) started, you went apeshit because of picks made by BWJ and myself against Tyson, completely oversimplifying and misinterpreting what was said (just like you have so gloriously done here) and both BWJ and myself acknowledged that there were VERY VERY FEW fighters in history that we would pick to beat Tyson. Honestly I could think of maybe 4 or 5 that I would give even a shot to beat him and only two (Holyfield and Muhammad Ali) that I would emphatically call "locks" ... if you think THAT is an unreasonable point of view, then you are a fucking retard and you lack sense and objectivity

Furthermore, I find it humorous that some stupid little kid like you calls people "losers" or "nerds" that are afraid of "real social interaction" and "dont have real lives"... Arent you the guy posting videos on here at your mom's house in the bedroom talking with Free Ike???? Wasnt it you who started the short-lived "Debate" forum??? thats an awful lot of devotion, and sure as hell a lot more than any committment made by myself or BWJ (clearly the two people you were primarily referencing in your childish little rant)

Let us know when you are old enough to legally drink beer, you big Grown-up, you

I have nothing against Broadway Joe as a poster but it is noticeable that he seemingly randomly appears in threads where Tyson is mentioned to diminish him or generally provide negative feedback regarding the dude or his HW reign. No doubt he would claim to be only responding to OTT claims from nut-huggers but if he were truly indifferent or "objective", its wouldn't be so obvious.

As to the thread, Margarito is high on the list right now, De La Hoya for stalling potential match-ups over the years as fighters waited to see whether they would win the de la hoya sweepstakes, winky wright - http://winkysspot.com/

That is simply not true. And you would know this if you actually REED what I post, rather than parrot the knee-jerk reaction of Tyson-huggers like Jaws who get bent out of shape when every single word written about Tyson is not glowing praise meant to pump him up.

In my very first post in this topic I referred to Tyson as a great fighter who had an impressive run in the 80's. How is that possibly negative feedback about his career?

Do I think he is a low-life personally? Sure I do. Anyone with half a brain who is not into hero worship would think so. But I NEVER, EVER let that impact what I think of him as a fighter. And that is the essence of objectivity. I don't let my personal feelings get in the way of assessing fighters and their careers.

Jaws says he hopes Ray Leonard dies from a painful disease. I said Tyson is a douche bag. Which statement is worse? I'm gonna go with hoping someone dies as the worse statement. And I don't see you....or anyone else rushing in clucking like a flock of hens to defend Ray Leonard from mean old Jaws.

Maybe if you actually REED what I wrote rather than just blindly believe what Jaws, of ALL friggin people, had to say about me (since his every breath seems to contain a lie), then you would know what I actually had to say about Tyson.

And if you haven't actually read what I had to say, it's weak of you to even comment on this.

BTW...I just got into a discussion about Tyson in the MM forum. Please let me know what was not true or misleading about what I had to say regarding Tyson.

    http://www.fightbeat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30794

Since, according folks like you and Jaws, my mission in life is to discredit and diminish Tyson, I must have bashed him and been overly critical of him in this topic, right?

I am sorry if this comes off as a little harsh, but it gets old having to defend myself for things I haven't done.

First of all: Thanks! You are one of the very best posters on the site and praise from you regarding my postings tells me I am doing something right.

Second of all: I wonder if Jaws thinks Mac Foster is some white guy.

I still like Roy Jones but I started growing a bit of a dislike for him in the last 5-6 years. I was really high on him when he whipped Ruiz for the WBA title in March 2003 and I was ecstatic that he was going to really invigorate the lacking division. I figured he was going to take on Chris Byrd in a WBA/IBF unification and it would've been a very easy match to make since Don King owned Byrd.
But next thing I know, he just gives up the WBA belt and goes back to LHW to look like crap against charisma-incarnate Tarver, ruining his rep in the process and getting KO'd.
And Roy ends up doing more tough guy talk on boxingtalk.com and talking crap like "Gimme 100 mill and I'll go whup them Klitschkos!"
Roy f*cked up his career IMO.
His whole heavyweight campaign was a farce. He had me fooled. Throughout his tenure at heavyweight in 2003, there'd be new rumours or reports like "Roy set to take on Lewis for heavyweight glory" or "Roy to face new WBO champ Corrie Sanders!"
At the end, it was all just a big pile of dung! He just made a bigger farce of an already farcical division. :dunno: And at the same time, making a farce of himself.

Dude, I don't care about Tyson or any of it - I don't even disagree with your stance. I was simply making the observation that you tend to pop up in most Tyson threads I have ever read in this forum, its obviously not something you're indifferent about, which is I'd imagine due to having sat through years of Tyson dribble by the now mostly extinct hordes of tyson nuthuggers. Just that.

Like the time Ron King called Jeff Chandler a white guy:lol:

Look this isn't something Id go after somebody on for one time, jokes are jokes. Saying Joe Frazier could beat Mike Tyson is absolute poppycock, and I held my tongue then for the most part. To deny BWJ hates on Tyson historically and now is just inaccurate. Hell I used to back him up when he'd go after KD, its just getting old.

Its not that crazy an argument, jaws

People always use the Foreman fight as their justification for predictions like "TYSON KO3 Frazier" and that is just such a simplistic view... Tyson could never duplicate that, he's all wrong physically and stylistically to do that... Frazier DEFINITLEY has a chance there, especially the longer the fight goes

Outside of that, I'd bet you couldnt find one BWJ prediction against Tyson that is even really questionable

Well he did say Monte Barret would outbox and then brutally KO a prime Mike within 7 rounds. He also said the Marvis Frazier win was a fluke and that Tyson was terrified of giving him a rematch.

Nope. What is inaccurate is your statement. And every other thing you have posted about me in this topic. But then...it's not like you and the truth are on speaking terms.

You are correct. But that won't stop Jaws from making one up.

What's funny about this new stupid thing that Jaws is fixated on, is that I wasn't the only one who predicted Frazier over Tyson. But Jaws, as usual, skips over that entirely. Again...he shows he's not a fan of what really happened.

Picking Frazier to beat Foreman isn't as ridiculous as your prediction that Tyson would KO Ali in the 8th round. I thought that was possibly the biggest joke prediction of the whole tournament...but I didn't see the need to call you a piece of shit (or whatever juvenile name you called me earlier in this topic) because of it. But then again...I am not an immature person with anger issues.

agREED. They are out of sight, but ready to reappear and fill the forum with endless drivel and lies at a moment's notice.

Hell...I'm surprised that the special phone hasn't rung the in the EskCave, alerting his Eskness that someone is actually speaking the truth about Tyson and they need his help putting an end to that.
