Yes the second fight between Brazier and Meekins was really good. Excellent performance from Brazier.
Wilfredo Gomez-Carlos Zarate Came Up in the Latest Inoue Thread, So REED Gave it a Watch...Combined Records of 73-0, 72 KO's Coming In... Some Fighters are SNEAKY Dirty....and Then There's Wilfredo Gomez....In This Bout Alone, He Hit Zarate On the Break, Hit Him After the Bell and Even Hit Him When He was Down... Still, Gomez was Wrong for Zarate STYLISTICALLY Though...Much Quicker of Hand/Foot, Much Better Lateral Movement...As Such, Gomez Patiently Circled Zarate for 3 Rounds, Then Check Hooked Him Half to Death in Rounds 4 & 5... REED
Gomez highly likely wins regardless but he did plenty of illegal shit and could've easily been DQd if zarate pulled a griffin
Im watching rigondeaux vs donaire. Donaire looks like a lightweight. Definitely 10lbs heavier. Unbeaten, younger, surefire first ballot hof who is still fighting and beating contenders today. Getting shut out here tho This version of rigondeaux is sharp, strong and focused. A problem for any 122lber ever Funny hearing this shill limpley having to give rigondeaux credit
11 to 1. Nice hook coming out of the clinch in round 10 drops a squared up rigondeaux. Who hopped right back up and controlled the rest of the round. Won the 11th easy then beat donaires ass round 12 and fucked his eye up with a counter left. Best punch of the fight. As it turned out he needed those 2 rounds to win on the pathetic scorecards from schrek and Stewart No excuses claims donaire. Then proceeds to say he has needed shoulder surgery for the last 3 fights. Or 3 years. Not sure which. Torn ligaments. Moving up in weight next, didn't study rigondeaux. These pinoy fellows are the excuse kings
I watched a few Cotto fights the last few days : Pinto, Margarito 2, Torres, Judah, Mosley, Corley and Foreman… He was very fun to watch and had a pretty good career. Best of the bunch was certainly Torres. Wild fight!
I feel sorry for these guys. Real fighters in real fights making no fucking money and then 20 years later bums like Jake Paul come along and get paid fortunes in what are basically fixed fights.
I watched Glazkov vs. Adamek believe it or not. Hadn't seen it when it aired. Decent and competitive fight but a definitive sign that Adamek was not going to be a factor at heavyweight.
You know I think Adamek might have outpointed Wilder. I honestly believe he could have done it. Apart from that the guy was never a HW as Vitali brutally demonstrated.
Fuck me this fight is still brutal to watch. What a fight. Quiroga would also have another war afterwards.
It's insane to think that Kid Akeem survived that, collapsed, recovered, and then died in a fight that never should have been sanctioned.
I fell asleep at halftime. Pack have a real chance of going all the way this year. I'll admit it is eerie at that Bart Starr, Favre, and Rodgers all won a SB at 27. And this is Love's age 27 season. If you have sports superstitions --- which I sometimes have -- makes you wonder.
