The Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia boxing match last night, won by Davis, was gigantic with the general public. It got 3.5 million searches on Google which with how they do it now, is an unreal number. That's ten times WrestleMania for a comparison. Aside from Climate Change, it's the most searched for topic for a one day period of anything in April. The only other stuff related to boxing, wrestling or MMA that cracked the Google lists were yesterday with Nate Diaz at No. 18 due to the brawl and Sergei Pavloivich at No. 19, both at 50,000. Pavlovich won the UFC main event over Curtis Blaydes yesterday.

 

As boxing fans this is one of our jobs in life! I convinced about half a dozen people that dont follow boxing (a couple ‘do they still even have boxing’ types) hadn't never heard of either guy watch the fight- a few with me and another guy bought it too even with some others, they all liked it and were glad I brought it up.. Like it or not media and twitter etc sells fights. When I hype up a fight and they google it and find tons of people talking about it.. it helps, no doubt.

 

Sorry Neil, but the over a million number is being reported by the Scene, Yahoo Sports, and every other reputable source. Should we believe the reputable masses? Or should we believe a lying ass, anti-PBC hack like Glaser, who also once said that he saw McClellan come into the ring at 200 pounds one fight? I know who I believe out of the two.

Just admit that you underestimated this fight's popularity, and as I told you, most people still don't know how to find illegal streams.

I agree it was a let down.

I knew Ryan was gonna get dusted, but the Campbell fight made me believe he would go out on his shield, and not like a puta.

 

Yeah, I was wrong, you weren't selling Garcia short, Xplosive...

 

I oversold him. I thought he had more balls.

 

I oversold his potential to do well with his speed and power. His ring IQ is truly awful.
