Davis vs Rolly, which I ordered last year, was $74.99. Ryan is a much bigger star than Rolly, obviously this one was gonna be more expensive.

The $85-$100 PPV is nothing new. Not sure what's so surprising. Of course it's too fucking expensive, but I don't get why ppl are shocked.

I really don't get the whole crying over PPVs thing, and the "I'm too good to order" PPV mentality.

Most of us waste $100 in a day on shit we don't even like.

Yall are on here complaining about shelling out around $100 like 2-3 times per YEAR (year!) on a sport we love and on fighters we support and enjoy watching.

It makes no fucking sense to me. Like if that's your thing, cool, my problem is then those fans talk down on fans who do order.

Like bro, the average person in the U.S. or UK blows $100 in a few days on junk food. What's the big deal about spending that money on a fight like 2 times annually?

 

Are boxing PPVs too expensive? Yes. But everything in life, and especially in the sports and entertainment realm is too fucking expensive. Name for me some things that are reasonably priced nowadays. It's not the 90s anymore when life in general was more affordable. Everything costs.

I watched Benavidez and Plant go to war on Sat night and felt actually kind of proud that a portion of the money I paid will line their pockets. They deserve it.

You guys will sit up here and enjoy the brutality of two cats putting it all the line, then simultaneously brag that you did nothing to contribute to their purses.

Last thing: I don't really much care when people brag about pirating big time movies. For one, because Hollywood is filled with pieces of shit. Two, because stars like Tom Cruise and Will Smith are financially set for several GENERATIONS to come, whether people pirate their stuff or not.

It's different when fans brag about pirating fights, because most boxers are not financially set for life. And unlike faggots like Cruise and Smith who just act, we're talking about cats who get in their and risk their health for our viewing enjoyment.

The sooner the PPV model does, the better it'll be for the sport.

And all of the fighters who regularly get on PPV will only go broke through poor spending habits. They'll otherwise be set for life.

PPV is killing what the 'little' guy earns.
