When I first saw Ryan on social media all those years ago, I never envisioned ever rooting for him. I thought I would despise him, but I really don't. I think he's a likable kid, and I badly wanna him to destroy this chubby clown. I'm really really not seeing it happen though. I'm sticking with my Davis inside of 6 prediction.

Foreman hit the bag with a monotonously powerful lack of technical proficiency unmatched since. Too much was made-usually by impressionable people like Norman Mailer- of how hard he hit it.

A "prodigious sight" Mailer called it.

    Anybody can hit a bag.

Yeah I'm the same. But i still believe Garcia can find a way. I just don't think Tanks acumen is as big as his power.

    Anybody Can’t DENT a Heavy Bag Though…

Mailer’s Point (In the “When We Were Kings” Doc) was the IMPRESSION Foreman Left Upon the Heavy Bag…Bags are Built Differently These Days, So it Never Happens Anymore, But Even Back Then, Shit was RARE If not Unprecedented…

To YOUR Point, You Certainly Didn’t Walk Away from Foreman Heavy Bag Footage IMPRESSED By the Precision or Creativity of His Punches; It was All BLUNT FORCE Heavy Bag Trauma…

The Literal CURVE In the Heavy Bag After a Zaire Workout was Ridiculous, However…Personally, REED’s Never Seen a Heavy Bag Display that EXUDED More Sheer Punching Power…

Davis ain't Duran in terms of boxing acumen, but his ring IQ is higher than Ryan's.

I really hope I'm wrong. If Ryan lays this dipshit out, I'll hit the ceiling screaming with joy.

The thing with Ryan is that I fear he’s gonna get over zealous and greedy in exchanges with Tank in his attempt to KO him, which plays directly into Tank’s hands.

If Ryan could actually box well behind a jab and use distance control with discipline, I’d give him a pretty good chance to win because Tank isn’t a super active fighter who puts pressure. But I don’t think that’s Ryan’s strength. He’s an aggressive guy with speed and power. And his only chance is that his power badly hurts Tank.

I’m in the same boat as X. I want Ryan to badly fuck him up and KO him Jackson-Norris style. I don’t see it happening but if it does… It’s cause for celebration.

An unbelievable physical feat, I'm not denying it. Man was unusually powerful and strong and to the untrained eye, terrifying.

Allegedly,Ali wouldn't look at him train..

    Some latest news:

Tank insinuating that he has a "spy" in Ryan's camp and saying he got hurt to the body in sparring. If true, wouldn't you NOT say anything and keep acquiring info? This leads me to believe he heard this second or fifth hand. Tank is dumb, but that dumb?

Tank says he has not watched an Ali or Hagler fight in a recent interview. Didn't talk shit about them, gave them props, but I think it odd for a professional fighter to not have seen a fight of either of these greats. He did say he has seen Sugar Ray fights and I thing it was Inoue.

Been kind of quiet on the Ryan side as of late unless I missed something.

If Ryan gets into a groove, he'll win this. Tank strikes me as the more natural fighter but not too diligent.

There’s all this talk about Ryan struggling to make weight, but I think Tank could be potentially struggling with that too. He has missed weight before.

If Tank is taking him lightly, that bodes extremely well for Ryan.

Tbf, I think denting a bag is usually more about the bag than the power. I've dented 90kg bags but they were full of sawdust, and the leather was old and loose. And I also have crippling wrist issues from heavy bags. I wasn't the only one in the gym who dented those bags. Also, I'm pretty sure bags where the bladder on the inside is full of either air or water are more or less impossible to dent without fucking up completely.

It's a cool showing of power, but realistically, there's a lot of more impressive things he did, in my opinion.

Just looking at Ryan's workouts, I'm seeing nothing that makes me feel more optimistic about his chances. Stiff, no head movement.

This is gonna be a rout in favor of Tank.

    Tank by Ko 4

Ryan has no head movement, stiff and his footwork is not great unless he is moving forward. He won’t be able to deal with Tank punching with him……that lead right hand he likes to throw will get counter by Tank left…

Ryan is the new Amir Khan…he will look good for 1-2 rounds then bang!!

    Tank inside of 6.

And comparing Ryan to Khan is insulting to Khan at the present time. You're saying it like Khan was some scrub. Khan has a solid resume of wins.

Ryan will never be as accomplished as Khan. Fuckin TANK isn't even nearly as accomplished as Khan.

    Tank KO 7

I think Ryan will get off to a good start and Tank as usual will get out worked and out busied in the early going. But at some point, Ryan is gonna be on the end of something that he cannot recover from. Hope I’m wrong.

I’m not comparing accomplishment …but their fighting style all hand speed, stiff, no head movement, leave themselves open when punching, can will get countered, etc…and the way Ryan went down vs Campbell has me thinking he will be doing some chicken dancing ala khan, Judah, etc..

Garcia would be winning 4-1 and then he walks into a Tank left hand and it's over

I do wanna see what happens if Davis gets caught with a flush Garcia check hook. Tank appears to have a decent beard, but it hasn't been extensively tested. That check hook is literally Ry's only chance.

Yeah I’m not sure Tank has really faced a real puncher. Rolly can hit but he’s totally slow and retarded.

Ryan basically out manned Luke Campbell. Yes it was Luke Campbell but it was always super clear who was going to win even after Ryan got knocked down. He was in there to bully Luke and he needs to do the same to tank. I really think kid is a natural fighter actually. His left hook, what a punch. He hasn't got the best head movement, he's standing straight up, he's stiff, we can all go on but he's tough, he's got the tenacity and heart to fight through bad spots and he's got a world class punch. He's carrying serious power. I just think this is one of those picks where I have to go against the so called better boxer. I like Ryan to get a good start here and I think he can spook tank out of it with the threat of this left hook. Hes game and hes going to be on the front foot. I don't think he's taking a backward step. I just like the overall dynamic here. He's getting picked to get ko'd so he's going to be doing better than everyone thinks. Until he isn't maybe.

Disagree, fighting like that almost got him KTFOd by Luke Campbell. Doing it against Tank is suicide.

I think Ryan needs to attack Tank. Not recklessly, obviously, but he needs to go on the offensive. There's a 95% chance it's a suicide mission, but it's his only shot. He doesn't have the skill nor the acumen to outbox Davis for 12 rounds.
