It's true of Mosley..except Shane wasn't slow, per se. Shane was slow to react...but he still had some handspeed.

Cotto is relatively dumb...relative that is to a Marquez. Cotto is a pateint pressure fighter who picks his shots. Not a dumb fighter by any means. But he's not a slick counterpuncher and mid-fight adapter like a Marquez is.

I doubt Manny stops Marquez early actually.

Marquez is tough and crafty, and he looks to have bulked up significantly to try and compete with Manny at 147.

My pick is Manny TKO 9.

I have learned over the years that I should make picks based upon my head over my heart.

My head says that Marquez is too tough, too determined and too smart to be stopped. His counterpunching brilliance will once again prove to be the foil for Pacquiao's agression and we're headed to another disputed 12 round decision.

My heart/gut tells me that Pacquiao time is now, this is Marquez' last fight of his lllustrious career, and Pacman is going to look like superman going into a Mayweather showdown with an early KO of Marquez on his already impressive resume.

Dunno why...but I'm going with gut!

Pacquiao ko5. JMM wins no more than one round no matter how long it goes, though.

JMM is the one guy who seems to have Manny's number. This is counteracted by the fact that Manny has looked very comfortable at 147 whilst JMM looked like a fat lightweight in his one fight there, though he has obviously had his power shake in the build up to this one. I think Manny wins much more handily than the last two fights suggest, but he may have to take a decision win.

Fight doesn't go past 5 rounds. Manny will be way too juiced up for this fight. He's no longer the same fighter he was when during the first 2 fights. He's a more complete fighter now. Between the 3rd and 5th round will be the end of this fight. I'll Holla 5000

Picking two ways, both having Pacquiao winning convincingly

KO10 - a la Morales II in an action-packed fight
UD12 - a la Barrera II, in a well-intentioned fight that turns into a disinteresting business affair

JMM doesn't look as big as I thought he was going to either, he definitely looks better than he did coming into the Mayweather fight though.

Same here, he still looks a tad smaller than Pacquiao, but he now looks solid at this 140+ weight, not flabby and pathetic as he was against Floyd.

I'm really hoping the business transaction fight doesn't happen, but it's absolutely a possibility.

Manny is nice, but at the same time he was probably pissed off that the Mosley fight really let down the fans, albeit being 99% Mosley's fault.

He also genuinely seems like he wants to bash Marquez.

Oh and by the way, I think Pacquiao is more ripped than he's ever been at 140+. He always looks solid and muscular, but now his body looks more like he did at 130, just bigger.

this is mannys toughest fight since the last figt with jmm. he goes life and death agian. morales-mab and ali-frazier 3 were suppose to be mismatches and paydays. jmms style gives manny all kinds of problems. he will no doubt win a decision.

Yep. This is one of those fights that really could end up in many possible ways. But I'll take Pac by TKO sometime in the last 3 rounds.
