Stop being childish. I don't pray to God over such trivial matters, and that's not amusing.

A Mayweather-Mosley fight is just as appealing to me as a Mayweather-Cotto fight....and part of me is hoping that Shane wins because I'll be fascinated to see the two speedy slicksters go at it...

There were a lot of people who came away thinking Collazo beat Hatton, and this was dispite being knocked down in the fight. As for Judah, he's never been great and has basically only realized his potential in one impressive performance throughout his career. He's easily one of the most overrated resume' names in history, just ask Baldomir.

As for Shane, people need to stop thinking that just because THEY want/think his time is up that he's going to lose. Look at history, look at the facts and rewatch the Collazo fight. Cotto will lose, I guarantee it. Also don't compare Cotto fighting Mosley to ODLH fighting Mayweather. Cotto was never and will never be p4p #1. In due time--if Floyd has the balls to not excuse his way out of it--we'll see Mayweather face Shane.

see now your being crazy acting like Floyd is ducking Shane.

The fight could have happened last November but Shane's tooth was hurting. I can see you know if floyd used that excuse to avoid a fight.

Fact is the fight could have happened but instead Shane chose not to.

any fight that Floyd has chosen has been worth more than a fight with Shane.

I respect Shane and really don't wanna question his motives when ducking fighters. But he openly ducked that Floyd fight. He also openly ducked Margarito when that fight was to be made after that Espn ppv. :dunno:

sounds silly to say that about Shane when his resume shows otherwise but he was the reason those fights didn't happen.

The tooth thing was smoke and mirrors. You see it wasn't the wrath of Mayweather that made Mosley avoid that fight, but rather the wrath of Gin Mosley whom Shane fears much more. He'd already said he would be taking a vacation with his family after that fight so the fact that Floyd was offered to him when he'd already agreed to his wife that they'd go on vacation was the real reason it didn't happen. That and the fact that Oscar probably wanted Floyd 1st.

As for ducking Margarito, Shane had already said that nobody ever offered him a matchup with Margarito. Even if that were true, he was regaining his confidence during that ESPN PPV period, so I'd have no problem with that if he felt he wasn't ready mentally. A fighter needs to know when to go back and get their mojo replenished, Shane did that and look how good he looks now as compared to Judah who didn't yet should have.

Seriously, you don't pray to God over sports? I thought that was what 90% of prayer was about.

I think Cotto will beat down Shane to the body in the later round and wins a UD or late ko in a fantastic fight

    I won't pick against Shane.

Part of me thinks this will be the reverse of what we saw last weekend. Shane has the ability to outbox and outpunch Cotto.

It's simply a matter of whether the 35 year old Mosley can handle bodyshots late in the fight. Cotto gets stronger as the fight goes on and Shane needs to put enough hurt on Cotto early to slow him down.

Shane is one of my top 5 favourite fighters of the last decade! HUGE Mosley fan!

Part of me thinks he's going to beat Cotto, BUT, if Cotto could handle the speed and power of Judah...I don't think Shane can hurt him badly enough (outside of the first 3 rounds) to slow down the Cotto attack.

Shane's best chance of victory is to catch Cotto early, because that is when Shane will be at his fastest and most dangerous, but after 3 or 4 rounds it will be Cotto's fight: younger, fresher, less expulsion of nervous energy. He'll gradually break Shane down in a FOTY fight (because Shane has UNREAL determination and heart) but Jack will not let his son out to see the 12th.

I'll be very sad to see the great Shane, one of my favourite fighters, lose. But alas...he will....

Cotto UD. Its time for Cotto to step up and mind his P's and Q's. Specifically he needs to get more defensive skills and Mosley could be his coronation. But either way he wins this one.
