He hates Hatton more than he hates Floyd. It's an emotional pick.

I'd be concerned if I were you.

Double L aka 'Johnny' from The Wire is rolling with Mayweather huh?

that should certainly be factored into any prediction, although who knows what the contents of his veins were when that pick was formulated.

    Hey Illu!

I've said all along that Floyd will tie Hatton up on the inside and then potshot his way to a unanimous (if boring/frustrating) decision.

Add me to your summaries, fella!

hatton's the one who's going to be looking to tie up. it's a crazy myth that he's some great inside fighter. i've never seen him fight inside once. like mosley, he looks to rip combinations from mid-distance and then grab hold of you like a broad. and that's what he'll do. it's how PBF responds to this illegal tactic that will determine the outcome of the fight. if PBF's fast feet, amazing reflexes and hand-speed mean that Hatton finds himself hugging air time after time, then PBF will easily win a decision.

now, if Hatton bites the bullet (and usually he doesn't), and genuinely mauls PBF (not the hit and hold routine he's fooled a lot of people with), his strength and ferocity could be a factor.

but honestly. Hatton's style isn't unlike Ruiz. he's got more talent, better technique and is faster, but basically he's looking to hit you and then hold you so you can't hit him back. he has very little tolerance for exchanges, and his instincts are to immediately grab you if one breaks out.

this is what makes him such a unappealing fighter. it's like he can't live in the ring. he has to be either hitting his oppoinent or controlling him by tieing him up.

PBF knows how to live in there. if the rules are enforced, he will win easily.

Hatton is much more likable, but from a boxing stand-point Hatton is dog-shit. and he's gonna learn a lesson on saturday.

I predict that if HATTON wins , I will need to change my underwear.

Having said that .... it goes the distance and because it's not a fight in Manchester , Floyd dances his way to a controversial decision.

    HATTON -unanimous decision.

Floyd feels the body shots early and tries to dance away. Unfortunately for him, against a workhorse like Hatton, 40 punches a round aren't going to cut it. :nono:

Floyd wins a UD by the scores of 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112. he easily outboxes sloppy Hatton and catches him on the way inside for an easy decision. Hurting hatton a couple timkes along the way.

    I like Hatton via UD...

I think Ricky's pressure impresses the judges who are already mindful of the 'safety-first' style of Mayweather.

Sure it will controversial. Sure folks will say Hatton didn't land much. But in the end Hatton will get credit for Mayweather not fighting against Baldomir and De La Hoya.

However, in all my genius, I haven't called a big fight correctly since Leonard beat Hearns in 81.

But I sure told them back then.

Wow, Floyd's not even talking trash anymore. After his arrival, all he's saying lately is how he loves his mother and grandmother and his kids.
3 days to go before the end of Floyd Mayweather Jr. It's all over for the Pretty Boy. Those fragile hands of his will pack no power, he'll feel flat and with each round as Hatton becomes more intense, Floyd will slow. All that time on Dancing with the Stars is gonna take its toll. The decline of Floyd has begun.

 Floyd is getting scared now. He seems to realize that Hatton is not buying his BS smacktalk after all the sh*t Floyd talked prior to the DLH fight and then went out and fought like a fairy bitch. Floyd exposed himself that night.
And now with the surge of Brits invading Vegas and tens of thousands of them cheering for Hatton while nobody is cheering for Floyd, it's going to f*ck with Floyd's mind. Not even 50 cent can save his ass now. Plus Floyd is trying to stay hush on his hand problems. He even cancelled a sparring session because he had to get his hands checked secretly.
It's all over for the Pretty Boy!!!!!!!
