I have always said that Pavlik did drop his hands and either attempt to clown or complain about the elbow and that's when he got dropped...

But to be fair it's important to remember that Pavlik was hurt BEFORE that ever happened. He was caught and hurt with a legitimate right hand and follow-up left from Taylor before that whole incident.

Taylor can legitimately hurt Kelly if he catches him right - and even at a higher weight that is a risk early.

Nevertheless, I do think that, though it will take longer this time, Pavlik eventually wins by stoppage again.

I do think Taylor will gas and slow down late and Pavlik will increase his output and get stronger.

I do expect Pavlik to be even more focused...and just as comfortable as Taylor with the added weight if not moreso.

Taylor will try to use his jab more often and quicker - but I think when Pavlik hits him with his heavier, thudding jab, he will take away Jermain's jab or at least reduce his willingness to use it.

Pavlik by TKO in the late rounds.

    Peace.

I wonder what the excuses are going to be when Taylor beats Pavlik.

Late Christmas present. Only way I see Taylor winning is if they rob Pavlik of the decision like they were trying to do last time.

Pavlik was almost KTFO in round 2. He's no defensive genius, not too fast. Taylor can beat him with not too much trouble if he fights a smart fight.

You're seriously underestimating Pavlik. If it was going to be in any way easy Jermain would have had far more success in TRYING to outbox Pavlik. He was getting beat to the punch in the jabbing contest and Pavlik's straight right couldn't miss. If Jermain manages to win, it will be far from easy.

    Pavlik by KO 7...

Both know they can hurt each other...but Taylor will be the one coming out a timid...jabs and a few right hands, but not throwing anything with any balls..just trying not to get tag himself....

pavlik will come out his usual self...looking for the ko....every minute...

You are just looking at 1 guys flaws and not the others. Pavlik was landing the right hand and jabs regardless of if Taylor was trying to box him. Pavlik is not some guy with no skill.

I'd say it's pretty good actually. The Pace that Pavlik forces and the fact that Taylor fades. It took him 7 rounds to fade last time, it shouldn't be much longer this time.

The only way this fight goes longer than the first is if both these guys are worried about each other...:dunno:...i don't think they will be....Taylor might be though...but he either comes to survive and try to go the distance...or comes out tooo fast and aggressive and is fatigue by round 5-6...

I like Pavlik and respect him, but the disparity of the poll is :notallthere:

I think Taylor got lackadaisacal because he was fighting jr middles like Ouma and Spinks and he got caught.

He definitely has a chance to win.

He has a chance to win, no doubt.

    They both do.

    But do you PICK Taylor?

EDIT: Yes, you do...in the first page, no less. LOL.
