Povetkin back to his usual best, his usual huff-and-puff best. Just make sure you're house isn't made of hay or straw and you'll beat this guy. WBA champ my ass. At least if Boswerll won, you know he would fight a Klitschko. We don't know that about Blowvetkin.

 

Blowvetkin nearly had him there at the end of the sixth, too bad his blowing and his uppercutting didn't do the trick.

 

Wow.....Blowvetkin actually got his ass and his head wired together there for a few minutes and took Boswell out.

Round 1.

Chisora looking in decent trim better than the Fury fight. Helenius looking like an extra from a Swedish porn, with slick back hair. Male Finns really are ugly. Good start from Chisora going straight to the body with stiff short shots, Helenius being backed up, showing a desultory jab. Chisora takes a right, Helenius chases him across the ring. Chisora applying all the pressure, Helenius does not look bothered. Chisora tries the right hook, mostly blocked, Helenius finds an uppercut on the inside. Chisora getting into range but looks ponderous.

Round 2. I know you are all riven to this thread.

Chisora straight onto the front foot. Clubbing body shots, Helenius backing up. Helenius is not jabbing he is measuring, and he finds the right hand. Chisora bustles forward but he's a bit ponderous. Helenius finds the uppercut, Chisora comes back with a blocked-right, Helenius has the ear-muffs on. Helenius finding openings on the inside. Mostly the left-hook, right-uppercut combination. Damn he is redolent of Foreman. Chisora warned for fighting back. He tries to book an appointment to land some bodyshots and succeeds.

Round 2 Helenius.

I know this thread is about Helenius and CHisora fight but can we talk about something more interesting? Anybody likes watching paint dry?

 

Round 3

Chisora starts the round backing up. Chisora rolls under a combo. Helenius stalks. Chisora leaps in with some body-shots. Not very effective. Chisora tries the jab and gets off a brace. Chisora digs a right into the head and holds. Chisora is showing a decent D and not too many openings. Another body shot by Chisora, Helenius keeps his hands up. Helenius gets the hook working off the jab, Chisora wiggles his hips, he's obviously Ali. Close round. Probably Chisora.

Chisora won the 4th by working Helenius. Helenius winning the 5th.

Helenius took the 7th, Chisora a bit gape-mouthed and ragged at times, his shots getting wider.

 

Not great but not too bad so far. He seems a bit...well...disinterested to be honest. Maybe he has some good Estonian pussy on-tap for later.

 

Chisora put in a massive effort in the 8th round. It's either that Chisora is about to take over, or he's shot his load. We shall see.

 

I gave Chisora the 9th too...its odd...Chisora is landing but he's the one who seems more discomfited by the few punches Helenius lands. Both of these are no threat to anyone who is real world class, at least not right now. I have Chisora ahead but some of those rounds could have gone either way. Both men tired.

 

This is the most exciting thing since the move by move thread of a recent chess match in taa forum.

 

Helenius getting bullied now. If the judges have been any way fair, Helenius needs a stoppage to win. Its not that Chisora is doing anything brilliant, its that Helenius is doing fuck all outside of one or two heavy punches per round.

 

It's decent. And Helenius is losing.

 

This is surprising. Helenius actually seems decent to me, at least relatively speaking, amongst his unapologetically awful peers.

I thought he'd destroy Chisora.

Maybe Fury is better than Helenius ::

 

Cmon u knew he sucks he's from Norway or Sweden or Finland or whatever the hell he's from. That's like Somalia one day making an automobile. Would you really expect it to be good ?
