Yes. Like the first round vs Ruiz. Where he would have lost the round 8-7 if the ref had called the knockdown right. Guy goes from having his opponent OUT to getting floored and needing 8 more rounds to turn the trick.
So will Haye turn up for the post fight press conferences after a severe beating? Will he show his fat face in front of the sky cameras? hmmmm
Is that the latest??? Or are you picking up on the earlier parts of the conversation in here? The truth of the matter is that if Wlad goes out and establishes the jab properly, that puts him ahead of the game already. Its then up to Haye to prove that he is this "new paradigm" fighter that people say he is.
I recorded Haye's workout earlier which was broadcast on sky sports news. Haye is coming across very childish now (I think Wlad actually stated this?).
Kevin Mitchell of The Guardian reckons that Haye has the Klitschko's under this thumb now. I, politely, of course, disagree with him. That said, Haye's latest stunt is yet to come. Whilst Haye cannot keep Wladimir waiting on fight night, au contraire, it is Wlad who can keep Haye waiting, Haye nonetheless plans to use that thick white Irish cunt, that fucking potato-head, Fitzshambles or whatever his name is, to cause some trouble in Wlad's changing room vis a vis the hand-wraps etc etc. If I am Wlad, every minute I am kept waiting, I just add 2 minutes to my walk-in time. So if Potato Man goes to the dressing room and causes 10 minutes delay, Wlad should leave Haye waiting in the ring for 20 minutes. Also, I wouldn't come out to any music if I am Wlad. Haye said that as soon as he hears that RHCP song, he knows its time. So I would come out to no music. Wlad would be getting in the ring and David would still be listening out for Anthony Kiedis.
I want to also know if any guys on here still believe that Haye is going to pull out of the fight.....
People will argue the merits of that. For me, any man who at the age of 19 beats Felix Savon in an amateur bout has to be semi useful. Before the injuries, hep, and a 9 round pasting from Wlad got to him {and in that order too} Chagaev was a pretty useful dude. He beat Valuev by FIGHTING him, as opposed to running away and signing a bit of paper {not in that order}. He has declined now though.
Nah, not now. He's too much to lose, nothing to gain, and SKY won't fold financially like Setanta did.
The Limey himself. Tell them I'm COMING!!!!! PS can I just order this fight and pay a one-off fee, there is no SKY SPORTS subscription, is there? Or do I need them too??? I'm confused.....issed:
You just pay a one off fee. £14.95 here in the UK, bit more in Eire. Just watching the Behind the scenes footage too. Steward thinks this fight won't go more than 4. It's going to be explosive whilst it lasts he says.
So I don't have to subscribe to SKY SPORTS, as such??....I will be using an existing SKY subscription, not my own, but while it is a genuine SKY account etc, it doesn't have SKY SPORTS. The box is HD and the tele is LIDL's finest shite. I just ring the number give them the account and they make it happen on 739?? Cheers.
I'm pretty sure that if you have a sky subscription already and not sky sports, you can still order the fight, without having to suscribe to sky sports.
No you don't need to be a sky sports subscriber to order it mate as it's sky box office. Just order over the phone and they'll charge only the one off payment.
It's long been known that Steward wraps his fighters' hands with a lot of tape. But evidently, he's done so without breaking the rules.
Yes, but he has been using soft, easy to intimidate sparring partners, unlike David Haye, who has been using only the very best. While I disagree with Sly as to the result, I don't deny that Haye has a chance, a clear and distinct chance of winning. The TV coverage, the British stuff, is irksome. I don't know if they are all in it together to hype the fight, as part of their contracts, but SKY pundits seem happy to accentuate Haye's positives, whilst accentuating Wlad's negatives. Where is the point in saying that "Wlad has no confidence in his own chin" without saying the same of David Haye :dunno: Where is the point in saying that "Wlad has no stamina, Wlad lacks stamina" without saying the same of David Haye :dunno: Statistically, the Valuev fight suggests that Haye can negotiate a 12 round distance against a much bigger opponent. If it does, then surely 12 rounds vs Sam Peter in 2005 is as good an indication as to who can negotiate a 12 round distance. Maybe thats just me. One of my favourites is the old chestnut about how Wlad has been handpicking his opponents and fighting guys when it suits him and not them. How can such a comment be made with such ostensible gravity against a background of one of Haye's best wins coming against a guy what Wlad destroyed two years before Haye even turned professional :dunno: Monte Barrett was beaten by Wlad in July 2000. Haye beat him in 2008. Ruiz? The man was pushing 40. Who is fighting "hand-picks" here??? Not saying Haye cannot win, but I am saying that the rationale being put forward as to how and why he WILL win is most obtuse, at best.
The best article I read concerning Wlad in this fight, not concerning whether he will win, will lose, will draw, etc, was written by Paul Hayward in The Guardian. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2011/jun/26/wladimir-klitschko-david-haye Haye and his people keep going on about how Wlad has had it easy and takes the short cuts and make the excuses. Wlad has been to lower places than Haye- because he has fallen from greater heights.
