You can't tell simply through pics, Z. In person, he likely looks much smaller than he appears in photos.
did he actually burn the bill? i think it got a little singed and then put away.....like in The Simpsons
You can when he's standing right next to Floyd and he seems like the bigger guy. Floyd has never looked small compared to anyone he's fought.
For years Reed please,.. there was an irrefuteable reason to detest Floyd,.. sure if you base it on his character there is ALWAYS a reason,.. but I never suspected nor did you ever indicate like Lib four Lib that it effected your support in anyway during his infamous drought between 2002 - 2007,.. since then, his opponents have been acceptable, and his drug-testing policy is ethical and great for the sport regardless of his mindset behind it,..you used to acknowledge this aswell,... so as it is traditional,.. I have two black posters who disagree with a black fighter whom I happen to agree with,.. :nono: it's 'TOMS!' time, yes it is...
This is a crock of straight up bullshit. I've been criticizing Floyd's competition probably before he even moved up to 140 so don't lump me in with anyone else. You're obviously confused yourself because you complain about Floyd cheating one minute and then praise him the next for cleaning up the sport. Here's the rule as you quoted it to me: You cannot punch your opponent's back, or the back of his head or neck (rabbit punch), or on the kidneys (kidney punch). Explain to me again what this has to do with Floyd cheating? There is nothing there that states you can't expose your back to your opponent. I've never seen Floyd try to get the ref to take a point from his opponent because his opponent hit him in the back. So what you are doing Kauki is effectively like getting mad at the fighter who takes a knee and then gets decked by the opposing fighter. I guess in your eyes the guy who took the knee cheated by making the other guy foul him. This is why almost nobody is addressing this issue everytime you mention it, because just like most of what Sly said in this thread, it doesn't make a lick of sense.
I'm not saying he shouldn't have fought them. Never said that. I'm saying he's the best and proved it without fighting them. Big difference.
Yeah nobody was screaming robbery for Mayweather vs. De La Hoya....it was close...could have been a DRAW....but the fight was so sub par that nobody cared to make a big fuzz if they thought it was a robbery.... Mayweather fans would say Mayweather won it easy going away....De La Hoya fans would say Mayweather could not clearly beat an ancient DLH and that he mighta pulled it off with his jab...
How the fuck can you prove you're the best without fighting the top guys in your division? Even in your mind, how the fuck is that possible?
I wish we could pull up the P vs. DLH RBR thread so we could remind some of you how people were claiming robbery.
Lib four Lib please,.. Hatton was docked a point for hitting Floyd while he was turned, it seems according to your rules,.. Hatton had to 'wait' until Floyd was facing him again,.. it is obviously reverse compatable that if you cannot hit your opponent in the back, or the back of the head,.. you're not allowed to turn your back on your opponent and hide behind an 'illegal zone' .. :nono:
Bullshit, Hatton was docked a point because he got frustrated and was mauling Floyd much like he did to Tszyu. He grabbed Floyd and hit Floyd in the back of the head, wrestled Floyd under the top rope then attempted to hit Floyd in the back of the head again. Floyd in no way initiated it with a shoulder roll because the foul occurred during a clinch. And no, according to my rules Hatton can hit Floyd in the body whenever he wants. If he attempts to hit Floyd in the ribs and accidentally hits Floyd in the back because Floyd is turning his body then that's on Floyd, the ref shouldn't dock Hatton a point in that instance. Until you can correctly prove that that situation has happened or that Floyd has even made the attempt to have that happen then your logic is ludicrous. The purpose of the shoulder roll is to evade punches not trick your opponent into a foul. The rule wasn't made to prevent people from shoulder rolling or turning their backs to their opponent, the rule was made for just the example you incorrectly described. It's for when an opponent wrestles or clinches in a position behind his opponent he isn't supposed to continue to hit his now helpless opponent in either the back or the back of the head. Now would you please drop this ridiculous witch hunt already?
REED Began to Lose that Loving Feeling for Floyd Around about the Time that "Money May" Surfaced:shit:...Mind U, REED Loooooooooves Arrogant Black Athletes, but Floyd's Taken it to a DANGEROUS Extreme...Flaunting THOUSANDS of Dollars @ a Time on Televsion, Stashed in a Friggin Backpack or Counting Out Money Stashed Away in a Closet... Sorry, but the IRS has Now TWICE Shitted on this Money May Image that Floyd Insists on Portraying...When U CAN'T even Pay your Fucking Taxes, U Really SHOULDN'T B on TV Constantly Sucking your Own Dick about How Rich U R...& it Sets a PISS POOR Example for the Up & Coming Young, Black Fighters...So your Whole "Tom" Angle is PREPOSTEROUS, Homegirl...REED is CONCERNED about the "Mark" Floyd is Leaving in that Regard... Fuuuurthermore, In Addition to Leading the Young, Impressionable Black Fighters that R ALL WATCHING HIM, Down a SLIPPERY SLOPE, Floyd is DEFIANTLY NEGLECTING his Place within the Sport that MADE him Who he Is..."I'm Not Even Thinking about Boxing Right Now":shit:...Or the "Retirement" After the Hatton Fight, when there were MANY Marketable Fights that Could've Been Made... On the SURFACE, REED Likes Floyd's Stance on Pacquiao & the PED's, but when Pac COMPROMISED During the 2nd Negotiation & agREED to Testing within 14 Days of the Fight (Something that Floyd had REQUESTED During the 1st Negotiation) & Floyd STILL Found a Reason NOT to Face him, that was yet ANOTHER Strike... REED:shit:
Good post REED. I think Floyd is indeed a very poor example period to all athletes. I think the Big Show should've been much more stiff with him at Wrestlemania. Maybe go off the script a bit to see what Floyd was capable of when not everything goes his way....:crafty:
Ahhh there lies the answer Lib four Lib,.. yes, it is his problem because the rules have been breached, a foul has been committed at the fault of Floyd who turned his back on his opponent,- you choose to let slide a particular felon against him so that the shoulder roll as performed by Floyd can remain 'grey', and what about the second part of his sequence where he ducks his head below belt level?,.. you also chose the most trivial of the TWO felons committed to talk about I see.. :crafty: :nono: ... no wonder why you like German women you nazi tom sellout rat-bastard.athetic: :nana:
Well I recall Reed choking on his raging juices in a roaring campaign mode against people like myself who were against Floyd's choice of opposition in 2006 most noteably,.. it appears Reed dislikes Floyd's inactivity,..well ok, but Floyd most certainly had disgraceful antics that may have had an influence on black youth five years ago aswell, :nono:... so It's hard to understand Reed's sudden change of mind,...and NO he was right the second time and former felon chemists like Conte have freely advised him not to cut testing off two weeks in advance.
This is a good post REED. BTW... http://sports.inquirer.net/6112/mayweather-hopes-for-pacquiao-but-set-for-ortiz http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/07/09/11/arum-pacquiao-camp-oks-random-testing
Are you truly expecting Sly be reasonable when discussing Mayweather? All of his posts can be translated into "I love Floyd!!"
I'm always reasonable. People just hate Floyd and therefore his fans. I've said repeatedly that I blame Floyd mainly for that fight not happening and I'm as pissed off as anyone on here for Floyd being so inactive over the last few years etc. I'm just saying that Floyd is the best. He'd be the favourite over Cotto, Cintron, Margarito etc if they ever fought and for good reason, everyone knows he's the best. People don't like me pointing out the obvious because of their hatred (justified or not) of the man, but the fact remains that we all believe he's the best...even if we disagree with what he's done over the last few years.
For the thousandth time, IMMEDIATELY AFTER Pac/Roach/Arum rejected it the first time, Floyd said 14 days was off the table permanently from then on. Basically he said he tried to compromise but they weren't having it, and from now on he was going to insist on random testing up to the day of the fight for all his fights.
Does him being the favorite mean: A. He would automatically win? & B. He should not have fought them?
