The best boxing interview i have heard for along time....he brought Floyd to task on the issues that boxing fans have wanted answers on for a long time. Also, a Brian Nielsen reference always goes down well. ::

You are the man for posting this video. Seriously, these two interviews were incredible. I have to say though, even though they asked Floyd the tough questions I thought that Floyd represented himself well. I give him credit for not being a punk and ending the interview early. I liked how they pressed him hard on not fighting Mosley, that was awesome. :bears:

Mosley never showed no signs of slippage in the Estrada & Cruz fights. He was training under John David Jackson who was having Shane box more and fight less aggressively. He focused on more defense for Shane who from what I saw completely dominated Estrada with his boxing. People assume because he didn't stop those guys that he slipped but Shane was dealing with confidence issues back then from the Forrest loss, not slippage issues.

Also stop trying make up shit to support your bullshit theory. Shane will occasionally look bad in fights but you seem to forget he looked pretty good in the Winky rematch. What's your answer for that one? He got back on the sauce again?

 

Anyone who doubts even for a second that Shane was a juicer is an idiot.

I find it funny that Floyd likes to say, I offered to fight him in 1999 as if that settles the matter. We are in 2009 and the fight is still relevant. Floyd would beat Shane's overhyped ass anyway. I think he is A FOOL NOT JUMPING at the chance to fight Shane. Besides beating Oscar once, Shane has lost every fight against a good and in prime fighter and by a lot.

 

Exactly. It's fairly obvious he used the stuff seeing as how Shane himself admitted it. It's just Floyd uses so many excuses not to fight the guy it's just hilarious. He even tried to insinuate that Manny is using by claiming the Phillipines has the best stuff out there.

 

You know, the part I like most about this is that RA is clearly a passionate and eloquent fan of the sport. He says all the things we've all been thinking and unfortunately, FM says all the wrong things and shows that he does in fact have the shit attitude to Boxing as we all suspected he did.

I'd actually like to see this guy interview more boxers. We really need someone who isn't going to mince words to bring some respectability back into the sport.

I ain't no ball swinging fan like RJJp4pno1. Shane is my favorite fighter and that is it.
