OK fair enough, but even that one, if you read the police reports including one by his own damn son, it's pretty fucking clear it's not being made up.

 

Fair enough. I've never looked into them, so truthfully I do not know anything on the matter. I just heard he was convicted of beating a woman...and I was skeptical, considering I didn't hear that the woman was in a coma or dead as she surely would be since he's a professional fighter.

As far as Tyson goes...1) he did his time. YEARS in prison...not DAYS in the county jail. 2). there is strong evidence Tyson did not do what he was accused of.

I just don't trust women and that shit, unless it's a history of violence from the man in question. Women LOVE to get men in trouble like that if the man has cheated on them or left them for another woman. They know how easy it is to do.

Did you know that literally...a cop friend of mine told me this recently...literally...a woman can make it up on the spot and just has to call the police and say her husband hit her...and they'll show up, handcuff him, throw him into the van/car, take him to jail....BEFORE asking any questions? When they start asking question the burden of proof is on him to convince them otherwise.

It's a woman's world out there, that's why I say FUCK FEMINISM.

 

I don't tend to look at links padna...and to be honest with you, it has been irrelevant to me for this fight so the topic didn't interest me.

however I will say this, if in fact Floyd is a woman beater, I don't condone it. I hate violence against women. Still...I'd put that aside (on the shelf) and still root for him to beat manny.

Do note, I picked Floyd to win. Doesn't mean I can't continually speak on how much of a shit he is. What I take issue with are guys that ignore or pretend it isn't relevant. Because it is.

 

It's not willful ignorance. I'm not trying to shield myself from teh truth. I just haven't looked into it...same way i haven't looked into Louis Farrakhan's extra marital activities. If he's a serial woman beater as y'all are suggesting, then I agree, that's awful and he'd be a bad person. Sugar Ray Leonard beat up poor Juanita frequently too...so I hope y'all are consistent.

 

I hated Leonard more than I hate Floyd. I've always said his fights with Norris and Camacho are my favorite Leonard fights.

I understand that....I think my point is...I don't care enough about Floyd outside of the ring, to be willfully ignorant of his transgressions. So willfull ignorance doesn't apply to me in this context. If these were allegations about my son...and I refused to look into them...then it would apply.

 

Well, I am a big fan of Tyson, but like Musze said there is strong evidence to suggest he didn't rape her, and personally from what I've read of the case I don't believe he did. It even seemed obvious by his reaction, and the way he's talked about it afterwards, that he is innocent.

If I believed he was really a rapist, I would not be a fan of his, I wouldn't have rooted for him back in the day, and I would not wear my Tyson t-shirt.

And obviously I'm a Duran fan, so naturally I'm not a woman beating Leonard fan :kidcool:

You can ask any of Duran's women and they'll tell ya, that's a man! That's one man I swear!

Nah....I don't hate Pacquiao. I just hate this acting as thugh God is on his side for this fight. It's in the context of this fight. What Pacquiao does or says outside of the fight is irrelevant to me.
