you guys saying Floyd is a big welter are retarded

Floyd is at best 5'7 and had to put on weight to make welter.. IMO he's really a lightweight

Floyd is lucky he is retired - I'll be back training in 2 months and I would have boxed the shoulder right off him.

If any boxer/MMA fighter is exhausted or "burned out" from fighting and training for years, it's perfectly understandable.

There's nothing easy at all about the sports.

Baldomir has a way thicker frame and outweighed him by 13 pounds on fight night. Mayweather is lucky taller and lankier than guys like Cotto and Baldomir, but their frames are stockier/thicker.

Mayweather looked pretty filled-out in his last fight @ 140 against Gatti.

He grew into 140 well, but I don't think he'll ever be more than a small to average sized welterweight.

He didn't look small at 140 at all, he looked like a decent sized 140 pounder.

It's funny. Floyd just announced his retirement and nobody other than a few boxing fans gives a crap. No media attention whatsoever. Just shows how irrelevant he is as a sportsman. Just imagine Tiger Woods or Roger Federer announcing their retirement suddenly while at the top of their game. It'll be news all over the world. Yet Pretty Boy is a zilch.

He got much more attention than that clown, Floyd. Even though Lewis isn't even an american and very boring to most whereas Floyd is doing everything he can to be a Hollywood celebrity, going around participating in bigtime Reality shows and WWE mega-events. Hell I didn't even know Floyd's pussy ass retired until I clicked on this thread a WEEK after he announced it.

Yep, Castillo was a bigger, stronger guy than Floyd at 135. Sosa probably was too.
