REED, why do you keep answering? Anyone who's writing Mayweather lost to DLH for anyone who knows how to score a fight is obviously trolling and looking for attention. Don't give him his candy.

He's not fighting these guys because he knows deep down he might lose to them. That's why he's not fighting them, Neil. There's nothing more to discuss about Floyd other than the fact that he lost a lot of money during his retirement and is now back only because of the money. He just called himself the Cash King and it seems everything he talks about involves money. Not legacy or fighting the best. I don't think he deep down believes he's as good a fighter as you think he is. He's got the ball and he's running as far as he can with it. And his fanatics are going along for the ride.

Mayweather has been acting the same way Lennox Lewis began acting during his final year of boxing. Ducking everybody and claiming that nobody is worth his time because he's just too good. Hopefully Marquez tears this f*cker apart.

When Lewis finished off his Tyson feud, he began acting all uppity and sh*t, like nobody was worthy to challenge him. That's what Floyd has been doing. In that video you just saw with Floyd/Kenny where he's saying Mosley has 5 losses and none of these guys are worth his time. It's the same sh*t Lewis was doing after the Tyson fight. That's my point.

Far greater fighters have ended on worse terms.

A couple of my all-time favorite fights are Leonard-Norris and mostly Leonard-Camacho.

Leonard isn't broke, but those losses were terribly embarrassing.

oscar getting whupped up on by Pac is an instant classic as well.

I just think it's too bad with Mayweather kinda.. With his skills, if he wasn't such a jerk and had a likable personality, he could be really good for boxing.

It always seems like he's pissed off because people don't like him and doesn't understand why  :notallthere:

He's definitely due for a loss.

you know.. I do think Floyd comes off as a jerk when he talks about "i'm the cash cow" and all that crap

but I don't really care cuz IMO he is one of the best fighters ever and he's going to stretch JMM and then STRETCH Pac

I think he really isn't enjoying having to come back to boxing......he has been extra apprehensive in the build up for this fight....

Well said.:bears:If he claims to be the best he should fight the best...from his weight division, of course! This like if when Roy was at his prime and would had stated "I am the best and I'll fight the best: Ricardo "Finito' Lopez at a catchweight!"

He's a coward who ducked Margarito for years and is ducking Mosley. Plus he fights like a bitch. His pussy style doesn't bring in any new fans to boxing. And Floyd/Oscar was the most boring piece of sh*t fight in history. All the fans after the fight were yelling "UFC....UFC" after that crap.:laughing:
I love it when Larry Merchant makes Floyd look like a dumb little f*ck in every interview.

how can you sit there and call a professional prizefighter a coward and a pussy? floyd has made a career out of doing something you yourself was far to chickenshit to do. if floyd was standing right in front of you, you'd have nothing to say...so who's really the coward?

Brian Kenny only wanted to fight in that interview. From the first sentence of welcoming the FORMER #1 pfp.

I thought Floyd made a great point about Marquez being too small. If Marquez is too small than why is everyone talking about Pac.

He's a chicken bitch like you. F*ck your 'playing rank', tapper. I got an opinion and that's how it goes. Besides, your bitch ass talks sh*t all the time about guys who'd f*ck you up the ass in a second.
As for me having nothing to say if Floyd was in front of me, I'd doubt that. I'll say what the f*ck I wanna say. If he ever comes on here and reads what I'm saying about him, he can come on over to my house and I'll discuss it with him and make him look stupider than Brian Kenny did.:kidcool:
What? You think I'm scared of stating how I feel about Floyd Fairyweather?
Didn't that chicken f*ck talk sh*t about UFC fighters only to tuck his tail and run away when Dana White offered him to step up?
Yeah, he's a coward! If you hate what I gotta say about your beloved bitch hero, put me on ignore.

The insults are becoming a little too much here. Lets remember this is General Discussion. Keep the discussion focued on boxing. Lets leave the personal attacks out of it. This applies to everyone in this thread.

Sorry GF. It's not my fault the Floyd fanatics on here can't defend their boy without pulling rank as Larry Merchant would say. Like I'd be scared of that f*ckin' fairy bitch! I'd mug his ass and take his millions. Nobody's scared of Fairyweather. He'd just stand there crying "Why can't I get no love???"
I love it when Merchant makes him look like a pussy. It was also funny when Mayweather was trying to showboat while Oscar was on the scales during the weigh in, and Bernard steps over in Floyd's face, looking down on him and telling him to behave! Fairyweather backs off and moves away. Such a tough guy is Floyd. Little pussy! He's scared of the real warriors. Talking sh*t about RJJ and Leonard. This fag has no legacy!

Man! Would've been awesome if the Big Show had slammed this cocksucker onto his neck and killed him. He could've just claimed it was an accident!

One twist of the wrist and Floyd's life would've ended right there. Courtesy of the 'gigantic queer'.

I finally saw the video and it was pretty funny. I actually agree with both Floyd and Brian Kenny on a few things.

Floyd is right about the bullshit knock on fighting the smaller JMM but people wanna see him against Pacquiao who actually started lower than Marquez. You put Pacquiao and Marquez in the ring and they are even. Yet somehow JMM is the smaller guy but not Pacquiao. :dunno:

The problem with Floyd is that he thinks he is smarter than he is when it comes to answering criticism. He gets pissed and starts acting like a child. It is both funny and pathetic. The guy always has a chip on his shoulder but wants people to think he doesn't.

Floyd tried to justify fighting JMM because of how good of a fighter he is. but when asked about Mosley it wasn't about how good he was Mosley just isn't a draw according to him.

Even when Brian Kenny asked him if he thought JMM was a bigger draw than Mosley, Floyd went back to telling him he didn't know anything about boxing....blah blah blah.

I really find it funny how Brian Kenny gets under his skin. Floyd was all over the place. Making some good points but most of the time just pissed off struggling to get his point across.

I can't remember the question and can't be bothered to listen to it again, but there was one exchange which was hilarious, I think he was asked why he didn't fight Shane Mosley or Pacquiao and he was like "Golden Boy promotions and..and..Mayweather promotions are the future of sports entertainment bla bla bla", and Kenny was saying "What's that got to do with what I asked?", "I just answered your question...", "errrr no you didn't, I must have missed that part":lol:

In terms of SIZE, Marquez went up and defeated the SECOND best lightweight in Juan Diaz, NEVER fought at 140 or 147. He will fight at WELTERWEIGHT for the best PAYDAY of his career.

Pacquaio beat a legendary fighter past his prime in Oscar at 147, DESTROYED the BEST 140 lber of the past few years in TWO rounds. Pacquaio has grown into a JR welter nicely. Marquez has grown into a LIGHTweight nicely.

At this point, NEITHER is a TRUE 147lber. Mayweather IS. He is taller, rangier, BIGGER.

The best EVEN fight in terms of size is Mosley, but Mayweather doesn't want none and he doesn't want to be criticized for it. Brian Kenny holds
no punches. Shows deference yes, but calls people on their bull shit to their faces.

I can't wait to see what Teddy Atlas says about this tonight. I know one thing for sure, if mayweather and Atlas were standing together he wouldn't talk that shit. If Floyd got mad at Kenny, imagine how he would have blown a lid over Atlas.

I also find Manny Steward's take on Mayweather interesting. He likes Floyd as a fighter, but I believe he has no qualms about saying Floyd couldnt' have competed with Leonard, Hearns or Duran. I'd expect him to be bias toward Hearns, but I get the feeling Manny thinks Floyd's a good fighter for this generation, but if matched with top fighters from a couple decades ago Floyd wouldn't fare so well. I tend to agree with that sentiment.

Even though he'd beat a guy like Simon Brown, Brown would have made a much tougher fight than Floyd would want to get involved in.
