that's a good point. PBF has always been particularly devastating against small fighters. in fact, it's when his power shines the most. give him a fighter his size, and his power isn't as impressive. but give him a guy considerably smaller than he is, a Chavez, a Hernandez, N'dou, and PBF can crack. PBF deserves more credit for his ability to hurt guys smaller than him. In that sense, he's under-rated and it's probably because he's black.

I was agreeing with you wholeheartedly until you completely threw me with this last sentence. Therefore I must ask you if your entire post was sarcasm?

i meant what i said, but it was sarcastic in the sense that i think it goes without saying that his power is going to be more devastating against small fighters, and i don't think it's particluarly complimentary to point out that while he's unable typically to hurt fighters his own size, he can hurt ones smaller than he is.

but i guess it does support the idea that he's be able to hurt Barrera if they fought. and i agree he would. the only question is whether he'd take the chances he'd have to take in order to stop Barrera. judging from past performances, such as his fight with JMM and and Vargas, it's safe to say he would not, and would rely on hitting MAB one at a time from a safe distance, and consequently, he'd win a decision, but not stop MAB.

Corrales was bigger than Floyd, Castillo said that his punches hurt, Hatton was bigger than Floyd, Mosley was hurt by Floyd.

Floyd has hurt guys as big or bigger than him.

    This is fair.

On second thought, while Floyd might have the capacity to hurt MAB enough to put him on his ass or stop him via accumulation, he might not go for it and make do with his usual safety-first approach.

I agree that the scores would be wide though.
