Actually if you're sleeping in a grungy old gym because you don't own a home it's pretty spot on that you're fucking homeless.

Either way it was a nice gesture by Floyd. Whether his intentions were pure or not is pretty moot. Floyd could have just sat on the sidelines hearing about it on tv like everyone else in the world, but instead he reached out and I'm sure the Frazier family appreciates it.

Whether you're burning money or using it to help others, people are going to criticize you.

Floyd also paid for Wolf's funeral, which he never publicised.

Jake or Buddy could tell us what it was like, I bet Floyd spared no expense.

And might run over a wolf tomorrow'

Floyd's a great guy ??? He will pay for the funeral ? Makes him a great guy? FUCK FLOYD. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING that little prick does is welll calculated and with a sole purpose of promoting himself. FUCK HIM. If he were so concerned with Frazier he would have helped the guy when the guy was broke living in boxing gyms and drinking himself to death. FUCK FLOYD.

    Nice gesture.
There have been a couple of times I've really felt encouraged by PBF's behaviour.
I loved the way he fought Mosley-Forcing the attack & showing heart after he got tagged.

I really liked what he said in reference to being tagged post-fight. Something along the lines of "getting tagged like that is nothing to be proud of. We'll have to look @ the footage & work out what I did wrong"

    The charitable stuff is great.

However he is still overwhelmingly an asshole in interviews. What he did to Ortiz was a disgrace, his seeming reluctance to take on the greatest challenges available & how he's trying to simultaneously avoid & discredit the accomplishments of his greatest rival, make it tough (for me) to like him.

him being an asshole and having not fought pacquiao yet i could understand as reasons to dislike the guy.

but ortiz? fuck ortiz, he deserves no sympathy. cant really understand why mayweather jr. is at fault for what happened there.

True. Ortiz was his opponent, who tried to headbutt him. Hopkins has shown worse sportstmanship than PBF and yet everybody here revers him.

No sympathy for Ortiz from me whatsoever.
He was a bitch. He pretty much quit as far as I'm concerned.

However PBF took unnecessary, classless cheap shots. For a fighter who will be/ is mentioned among the all time greats, as a boxing fan, it was disgraceful to see, but very much in line with what I percieve his character to be.

I'm sure that most all time greats from the past would not have done what Floyd did.
I was watching a couple of Frazier fights yesterday. Stander & Bugner. In both fights, Frazier could have legally taken some pretty decisive cheap shots, but didn't. His instinct for not taking a cheapshot was as natural as his instinct for (legally) ripping your head off.

PBF will NEVER get the respect as a fighter he seems to so desperately crave, & the reason has got nothing to do with his boxing ability.

Floyd is on the phone right now bargaining the guy in the funeral parlour down on the price of the casket.

Floyd wants an 80/20 casket, 80% cardboard, 20% MDF, and Floyd wants options and Floyd wants a percentage of the gate at the funeral, and TV rights for the reception.

    Floyd also wants........:shit:

in fairness, he would have gone straight to fouling... definitely no glove touching or "yeah, we're cool" faggotry... That's my only beef with Floyd there... if you are so pissed off and you are looking to repay the favor, then don't make nice with the little faggot in the first place, just go right for the kill
