This fight fucking stinks. It will (again!) bring together all the things I like least about this sport. A big step back.

It isn't the priority of every boxer. It's not Mosley's prioriety, at one time it wasn't even Oscar's prioriety. Also there's an understanding I give a guy if he sidetracks his quest to be the best, by fighting a washed up version of the sports biggest payday. But when he does it again, just for the money...again, welll expect me to be a little bit pissed. I mean Floyd is probably the 2nd biggest draw in the lowerweight classes and to be honest I don't think there are any heavy's who can outdraw him these days. A bout with Cotto would have drawn outstandingly well, why be so greedy?

Also how the hell would I have known that first fight wouldn't be exciting? Floyd is exciting and Oscar is exciting but that night they were playing pitty pat.

By the way I already know you're arguing with me just to do it, and that you don't really agree with what you're saying.

I wish De La Hoya would retire. His time is done, his fame keeps him relevant even though he isn't relevant anymore, not with the way he's conducting the end of his career. He rides his name and this put relevant matchups on hold, I hate that.

Me too, but one Oscar fight I would be interested in seeing is him against Forrest.

Would never happen but I'd be intrigued.

Boxing doesn't need the tranny in the ring anymore. At all. Especially at 147, where there are about a dozen GREAT fights to be made right now.

Which shows you right away that money was never his main prioriety. Him and his father started out together, as a family business. His father was trainer and manager, why shouldn't his dad get 50%? At least in the begining.

    Probably never. :dunno:

Yeah, I do because as soon as the ODLH fight is over Floyd's going to start talking retirement again.

Yeah, there was a 50/50 chance it's going to go either way. Wow I was wrong, not everyone can be a genius like you are. I mean you may not always get fight predictions right but everyone here knows you have a perfect record when it comes to predicting the excitement level of a fight.

I really don't care for this fight. I normally don't pass on these huge ppv cards. But a rematch really cannot be better than the first one. If anything it's gonna be easier for Floyd this time around.

It's obvious GoldenBoy won't spend decent money on the undercard. So why the hell would I want to order this? :dunno:

I hope the complex busts, and everybody in attendance is crushed by concrete pillers and pureed by broken glass.

first of all I have never been a fan of anybody for their wealth. That is the dumbest reason to be a fan. :nono:

and I'm not a groupie either. I am a fan of Floyd. But I also call it like I see it. I riped that guy for being fake during the 24/7 series last May.

your confusing me with one of your many enemies kiwi

I'm surprised everyone is so down on this fight happening .

DLH made a great showing the first fight being much closer than most give him credit for and IMO could make the adjustments to beat PBF, which would be typical of most rematches in history where the loser wins the rematch a good percentage of the time setting up the rubber match.

1st of All, DeLa DID NOT Make a "Great Showing" N the 1st Fight, PETRE:nono: ...

2nd, DeLa Fought PRETTY GOOD, but Only for the 1st 5-6 Rounds...

But Hey, if Fighting PRETTY GOOD for 5-6 Rounds is YOUR Idea of a "Great Showing", So B it...

so PBF barely beat a poorly performing ODH? and this is the P4P #1 fighter in the world?

well i agree with you on the first part - PBF barely beat a poorly performing ODH. which is all the more reason there's a chance he will lose the rematch. what if ODH remembers to throw his jab? PBF is in trouble then. i wonder if people will still be calling him the P4P #1 fighter then?

But what U're IGNORING is that DeLa, the NATURALLY Bigger, Stronger Man, FAILED to UTILIZE his Advantages...

Shit, Ricky Hatton Took MORE Chances vs. Floyd than DeLa was Willing to...

DeLa was Fighting PRETTY GOOD Until Floyd BUCKLED him in Round 5...After that, DeLa Fought CAUTIOUSLY & Floyd was MORE than Willing to Oblige him...

Floyd Mayweather IS "The Best Fighter in the World Lb 4 Lb"...Just Cause U DISlike him DOESN'T Make that Statement UNtrue...

I don't think you give Oscar enough credit in that fight.

Hell , even his own Daddy said Oscar won the fight.

Oscar did much better than most here expected.

Ricky "had" to take more chances if he had any chance of winning. ODH can win 5-6 rounds without taking any, which is why he's happy to fight PBF again.

People are down because there are much more interesting fights we'd rather see Mayweather in, rather than fight a part-time fight whom he already beat in a fight that wasn't so crowd-pleasing.

    Exactly.

Hatton took chances in that fight. I think he certainly could've lasted the distance if it was really a priority for him. After the eighth round shellacking he could've went in a shell but instead he took chances trying to make something happen.

He ended up going out on his shield, but he deserves more credit for the way he fought (with what he had) than DLH.

Constant holding isn't taking chances. If he didn't hold he would have been knocked out earlier.

1st of All, Floyd Sr. ONLY Said what he Said BECAUSE DeLa PAID for his Tickets to the Fight AND Because Sr. was TRYING to Stay N DeLa's GOOD GRACES to 1nce Again TRAIN him...

2nd, THIS BOARD FAVORED DeLa to BEAT Mayweather...Do your Research & U'll See that the MAJORITY of Fightbeaters PICKED DELA...Your Last Sentence is 100% INaccurate...

REED Gives DeLa Credit for Fighting PRETTY GOOD for 5-6 Rounds...No More, No Less...Unfortunately for him, the Bout was 12 Rounds...
