[h=2]Mayweather visits Pacquiao’s hotel room[/h]After their chance meeting at an NBA game in Miami, the LA Times is reporting that Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao hooked up later that night in Pacquiao’s hotel suite. Pacquiao advisor Michael Koncz told the newspaper “Everyone left on good terms. Floyd’s very personable, very cordial.” Koncz chalked up the encounter with Floyd to divine intervention, telling the Times “Like Manny said, ‘It’s God’s will.’ God put us together.” Manny and Floyd were reportedly together for over an hour.

:Bad: It would be a stroke of Arum Jewish geniusism....if they announce this fight on a commercial during the 2nd quarter of the SUPERBOWL...GENIUS!!!! GENIUS!!!! or if right after Katy Perry is done shaking her nonass n nice tits both fighters would meet in the center of the concert platform.....face to face....

Announcing it at the Superbowl with them two facing off in front of 100 million people really is the only way to do this. Whoever isnt feverishly working behind the scenes to make the fight happen before the game and announce it at the game should be killed

It's a pity it had to wait this long. It's not stale, but it's not exactly fresh out of the oven either.

This Espinoza character is something else. If it's not close to being done then WHY not? It's HBO? It's Mayweather demands on who composes the broadcast team?
    It's 67% done?

"I'm working really hard to make the fight, but it won't be today or the next days that we finalize the deal." WTF
Then you're not working as hard as you say you are, are you?

I agree, no better way to announce it then in front of 110 million domestically at the SuperBowl with the entire world watching!!! GO PATRIOTS!!! Deflate those Seahawks! lol

Floyd is still undefeated. That alone makes this fight engaging even now. And Floyd is looking more and more beatable.

Doesn't matter. When this fight is signed, it's all going to be nothing but Floyd and Manny talk. Much like Lewis Tyson. People were going nuts about that fight on here. Tyson fanatics were bloody insane on SecondsOut and all over the forums

Yes, and Manny has been beaten. Knocked spark out, in fact.

We got screwed out of the fight when it would have been best, in 2010. The fight taking place now would still be a lot better than Lewis-Tyson though. Despite their ages, Floyd and Manny are still both elite fighters and it's still one of the top matchups in boxing.

Of course. But he's done well in rejuvenating interest and building himself back up. The superfight is still super! Everyone wants to see it go down.

I'm sure Floyd doesn't want Lampley on the broadcast team. Especially how Lampley ripped him on the Fight Game.

Yeah, but you have to take that with an ounce of context. Manny seems like an introvert and always displays a low key beaten down presence. In other words he always looks timid and scared except for when he's wearing boxing gloves. So don't read too much into that and you should wait for their FINAL stare down before you start claiming Manny looks afraid.

There is very little for Manny to be afraid of. The worst that Floyd can do to him is take him to a place he has already been. Floyd on the other hand could get taken places that he has never been before. Like school.

No. Same old shit. Their numbers decline, they bring each other up, Mayweather stalks Pacquaio OUTSIDE of the ring, then goes to the beach. Arum is talking too much. Showtime's Espinoza is in no hurry, HBO says sure we're in and ready to go...

And we're here Feb 3, no announcement...

"When Mayweather is long gone, with grey hair, and is constantly asked why didn't you fight Hall of famer Pacquaio, he is going to answer because of a guy named Bob Arum? Come on..."

Yeah, Bob Arum got in my way of beating Pacquaio and over $120 million payday. He is the reason why I'm not beating the record of PPV buys in the richest fight in history...

Why not! I still talk to old-time boxing fans who use Jack Kearns & Tex Rickard as an excuse for Jack Dempsey not fighting Harry Wills 90+ years ago.
