Absolutely. And that is why people loved to watch Gatti. Defense is great as long as there is an offense to go with it. If Floyd was defensive fighter that he is, but then landed a crushing 5 punch combo, the crowd would go bonkers. But he was happy taking the one punch and moving away, the same way he did with Baldomir.

I can't stand watching Floyd. One shot, run, hold, bend over as far as he can so that all that is open is an illegal back of the head shot. lol What a fucking Joke.

I have nothing against Floyd's style of fighting. Just don't demand that people pay to see you fight, nor talk sh*t about killing fighters in the ring as if you're Tyson which you're clearly not. And cut the thug act. Other than that, it's all good.

Hes only trying to sell tickets and PPV. If you have ever seen Floyd fight before you will know this.

Its just like when Oscar says he is in the best shape of his life. Do you really believe that.

Exactly. Let be honest here. Floyd should just say "Yeah I plan to be as safe as I can, throw one shot at a time, hold when the other guy gets close and if I'm not holding I'll bend over and touch my forehead to the canvas so I can't be hit."

He looked to be in pretty damn good shape to me. It's not like he said that and came in fat.

Yeah he did. He still looked tired at the end from doing a whole lot of nothing in the fight.

its not, he should have been warned and points deducted everytime after, it ranks in there with clinching, it should be warned and points deducted there after also. Do the refs do it? Well Roy got Nady to:dunno:

He may have, but I don't think he realized how much energy he was going to expend running after Floyd :dunno:

Called Floyd "Baby seal" then let the fight continue? :dunno:

If a guy opens up his side, punch him in the side. That's what Rahman did to Toney. Toney ended up with a lacerated kidney.

I didn't feel sorry for him.

    this is so retarded

Just like Larry Merchant, hating on "boxers"

I hate the casual fan, only wanted to see wild swinging bums with no defense, trade shots to the head with no slipping or blocking

I LOVE to see masters like FLoyd, Pea.. etc..

People miss the art, the sweet science and assholes like Larry make it worse! hating on Floyd and always so negative

Floyd is a GREAT "BOXER" Boxing is hit and dont get hit! FLoyd DOMINATED DLH and gets flack from idiots:doh:

I guess MMA is more my style then. If that is what the best boxers in the world do, I don't care to see it.

I don't think Mayweather is as much of a master as Pea was.

He is the best doing it right now, though.

    Tough one,

I used to workout with a guy that did pad work for Too sharp and he said he worked with Shane and he really didnt like him.. said he slapped too much..

I have always liked Shane, Earlier on better though.. he was great as a Busy, VOlume guy.. good power but just the volume and body work would break people down.

Floyd is no doubt the better pure boxer but Shane is bigger, stronger and is faster than DLH..

Still... I'd probably say FLoyd wins right now, Shane for some reason has become more of a one punch at a time, loading up guy..

I think Shane has more of a chance than DLH "IF" he was busy.. and attached the body a lot..

I think Shane looked GREAT againest collazo but still I'd say FLoyd would outpoint him but it would be tougher than the DLH fight
