Ronda fought last year and GSP was scheduled to fight this year. Lesnar is also in talks to return to the UFC. Forbes does tabulate Combative Sports earners. Klit and Joshua are on the list. but close to the the end.

I dont see boxing payouts to continue to exceed MMA payouts. In such a short period of time, MMA's top earners have shown they can exceed boxing's top earners with the exception of mayweather. I think Boxing has a hard time with their stars. Their PPVs other than Mayweather dont do that well. On a whole, the UFC beats boxing in the PPV market.

But i said it before, i dont think boxing is dead. I think Boxing is just in a dry spell. The GGG/Canelo fight should establish a new mega star in boxing. And hopefully more people come along to get things back.

According to the Forbes list McGregor and Canelo both made $27 from fighting but McGregor made more from endorsements.

The thing is, McGregor was involved in the two top selling UFC PPV's ever(UFC 202 did 1.6 million and 205 did 1.3 million) while Canelo did 300k for the Liam Smith fight and 1 million for the Chavez fight. So he got a cut of 1.6 million more PPV buys and still made the same amount as Canelo.
