I actually dig your passion for mma TLC, but you just sound so foolish. Saying Fedor hasn't been in wars is silly. Have you ever seen his fight with CropCop in Pride? Great watch if you haven't caught it yet. Nog has taken terrible punsishment through the years, more so than Fedor, but not acknowledging Fedor's 30+ fights are tremendous wear and tear on the body are just....well, foolish.

Of course he's had some wars. If I make broad, general statements like that, doesn't mean there is no exceptions. But generally, Fedor has not taken that much damage in his career. Just look at how many 1st round finishes he has.

MMA is real fighting. Pro wrestling is physical soap operas. If you really think it is tougher to be in a fake wrestling match than a real fight, then I don't know what to say. One is choreographed and the other is real.

I guess you figure the three fights between Fedor and Nog were wars for Nog only?

Also, people forget that Lesnar's body was beaten up already, he's not some gut fresh in the pond, his body is coming off steroid and painkiller addiction on one of the most physically arduous jobs in the world. Even Brock said himself MMA is a fresh of breath air compared to the "fake shit".

People also forget that Silva is nearing 35 years old and could decline very quickly. Although it's strange with Anderson because he gets better everytime we see him. I think the Silva in the Leites and Griffin is the best Anderson we will ever see.

Actually if you make broad general statements that aren't true, they're called lies. Fedor's first fight in Pride was against Semmy Schilt, the greatest kickboxer of the past 10 years. Fedor is good at neutralizing fighters, but it doesn't mean he hasn't been in wars.

His fight with Crocop. A war. His fight with Randleman, a war. Fedor was suplexed onto the back of his neck by a strong wrestler who actually leapt off the ground with Fedor and they landed on Fedor's shoulders and back of his neck.

His fights with Nogueira were wars. He wasn't fake hitting anybody or being fake hit in return. His forehead was opened up where you could see his skull.

If you think it is tougher to pro wrestle, that's your opinion but top-level REAL COMPETITION against guys trying to knock you out or snap your arm is harder.

Are people supposed to feel bad because Lesnar is taking drugs? You talk about Fedor and then make excuses for Lesnar. Lesnar is doing fake stuff with physical activity included.

It's clear where your sympathy is found, but Lesnar was not a real professional fighter until a little over 2 years ago. Fedor's been one for 10 years.

If you consider some of those fights wars, you are either exaggerating or we just have totally different views of what a war is, if the latter then I'll just agree to disagree.

I find your stance on pro wrestling amusing. No disrespect, but that's just a stupid thing to say. If you knew what was involved in pro wrestling you'd realise that.

If you knew what was involved in real fighting, you'd realize that you're mistaken. This isn't a couple of guys pretending for 5 or 10 minutes and then deciding that it is time for the one guy to cover the other one.

Anybody can take painkillers and steroids; not just anybody can become a great fighter like Fedor has been for the past 10 years. And I don't need to disrespect you by calling you stupid to make my point. :dunno:

Buddy, I think you're really understating the rigors of the life of a professional wrestler. Granted, it may be scripted, but it is a very brutal way to make a living, especially when you consider they are on the road for 300+ days a year, travelling all over the world with no off season or vacations.

Just look at how many wrestlers have died from drugs and painkillers over the years. It's not an easy life.

It's also a life they choose. The repeated impacts on the canvas are hard on the body, I know that. However I think being a real fighter with sambo world championships, real training camps with real improvement, and real world titlefights has gone through training which is just as hard.

The thing about pro wrestling is it is pre-determined. You only have to wrestle hard enough to put the other guy over. NOBODY goes balls out 5-6 nights a week fighting. Nobody.

Don't get me wrong. Some of the best early MMA fighters have also participated in pro wrestling: Frye, Sakuraba, Coleman, and Shamrock to name a few.

There's no comparison between a real fight and a fake one. The training may be comparable in some aspects, but the real fight is fraught with more danger. Calling a real fighter's training laughable in comparison to pro wrestling. Come ON...

That's irrelevent. Completely for that matter.

As I said, Fedor has been a few, maybe around 8, tough fights depending on the criteria.

There's no comparison from the day-to-day grind of professional wrestling to fighting MMA.

You seem to understand very little about PW. Which is okay, you must not he a fan. But it's pretty dumb to comment on it like you are an expert, which is clearly not the case.

No shit they are both difficult jobs and no one can sat which is more so.

But it's not about what's harder, it's about what is more physically demanding, physically damaging and that is clearly PW.

Actually I was watching pro wrestling when you weren't even conceived.

You also have a habit of putting words in people's mouths. I never claimed to be an expert, but perhaps I should have known better than to try and talk reason with someone who calls Fedor "Fraudor". You clearly have no respect for real fighting or a knowledge of what it entails.:dunno:

The only time Lesnar endangered himself is when he tried to do a shooting star off the top rope and landed on his head. He's not in danger when most of his pro wrestling matches were squash matches trying to make him look like "The Next Big Thing".

And it is about what's harder because real fighting is harder and earns more respect, and even Lesnar knows that. That's why he wants to do it when he could make more money pro wrestling.

You do realise that they wrestle almost every day right? It sounds like you think they wrestle once a week or something. Not only that, but they injure themselves quite frequently and guess what? You don't just pull out like you can in MMA, no what they do is take some painkillers, tape it up and go out and perform.

Also, not sure what could build up scar tissue anymore then purposefully cutting yourself open to spill your own blood all over the ring.

Yes, I realize that many professional wrestlers put their pre-determined exhibitions on about 300 days of the year. I also realize that pro-MMA fighters and worldclass sambo practitioners train at least as many days. I also realize you're neglecting to point out that many of the matches are not nearly as grueling physically as the ones in Japan that are worked stiff and involve much more risk. :dunno:

I'm gonna let you say what you'd like. I'll debate with those who can participate in intelligent discussion and can concede points as well as make them.

You could also build up a lot of scar tissue by hitting your own head against a floor for 15 minutes a day.

TLC, you really are losing any tiny piece of credibility arguing on behalf of Pro Wrestling. Let it go, dog.

Actually I was talking about all of pro wrestling as a whole, which you were not even giving an ounce of respect prior to TFK calling you out on it. As you put it these "physical soap operas" have more deaths in one or two years than MMA has ever.

And really, the point wasn't at all a debate between PW and MMA, it was the deliberate undermining of the physical damage that the wrestlers go through. Benoit, Guerrero, Umaga, etc, all prove that Lesnar has gone through as much as Fedor has, despite not entering MMA until his 30s.

Also, Lesnar worked in Japan for over a year. :dunno:

Wrong, straight off, the point was you calling Fedor "Fraudor", claiming that he was extorting MMA organizations, and being disrespectful to a guy who's been fighting actual fights for the last ten years.

I started off by saying that Fedor's been a champ in other organizations for 6+ years and that he might be getting too old due to the wear and tear of competing in MMA and Russian Sambo(i.e. scar tissue from cuts and training).

To which you responded by calling me a nuthugger and by claiming that Lesnar had as much or more wear and tear.

Which is horseshit, basically. Just by taking a look at their faces, you can see who has racked up more mileage. Other than giving himself a thin slice with the occasional razorblade on his forehead, Lesnar hasn't racked up a lot of scar tissue on his face. Fedor has. If you saw his face in the Nogueira fights, the Crocop fight, and the Rogers fight---among others, you'd see a guy whose facial tissue has been damaged more and more from real punches, not pulled ones.

The physical soap operas have deaths due to what? Drug abuse usually unless someone gets their feather boa stuck in their repelling rigging. :dunno:

What does any of this have to do with you calling him Fraudor and saying he's extorting MMA organizations? All you're doing is showing that paid stuntmen can get injured while they're acting. The impacts may be real, but the competition isn't. If anything, you should have even more respect for people who really fight, don't pull their punches, and have to actually beat the other person.

    1. Brain damage from landing on his head every night. That was his signature move.:bangh:

    2. 82-year-old Alzheimer's patient kills 97-year-old patient. Good thing Fedor isn't 97 yet.

    3. Drug overdose. Yep, you take too much drugs, and you'll die.

Here's where it kills me. You talk up these guys and what they do for a living, and then you talk shit about Fedor for trying to get the best deal possible. His fights are actually real, and he should be getting paid big for it because he's one of the best in the world and because he's not fighting someone who's supposed to lay down and let him win.
