I can see ward taking this on a decision, but the with the fight not being very good due to ward's tactics.

I'd love to see froch do this and I think he can and will.

    Froch split decision.

You're exactly right. I went to Atlantic City earlier this year...if you're not in a hotel or in a casino the place is a dump...literally one block over.

I checked into my hotel and was going to walk to the Taj Mahal which was two blocks away...I say it was 8 PM. The concierge says, "I will call you a cab." I respond, "but it's RIGHT THERE." Concierge says, "sir, I think you should take a cab." I reply, "seriously? it's right fucking there."

I looked down the block and I swear it was a crackhead convention on the next block. This was in March and it wasn't warm outside. Can imagine what it's like in the summer.

What's not to like about Froch? Dude is super limited but has an excellent resume. For the record, I picked him to get beat by Taylor and by Abraham, but the dude keeps proving me wrong. Fair play to the farmer.

Ward is going to expose Froch badly and win a wide decision, I don't see this being a close fight at all.

How is Froch going to be 'exposed'? his limitations are obvious to everyone yet he has fought absolutely everyone in the division worth fighting (save Bute who bottled the Super Six) and has won all but one fight?

you figure if the guy has made it this far in such a prestigious tournament that he'd at least be competitive in the final. if he aint, he's been exposed in a manner of speaking.

Actually that's complete bollocks. If Ward DOES dominate, it's because he's A) a better fighter and B) because his style matches up favourably with Frock.

If the fighting farmer could be exposed it would have happened already. He's fought Pascal, Taylor, Arabham, Dirrell, Kessler, basically everyone he could have fought.

And if he loses a fight clearly after all that he's "exposed"? WTF?? That's fucking retarded.

Right now people still think Froch is a good fighter. After Ward is through with him, nobody will think that anymore. It'd be a different matter if Ward considered to be ATG material, but he's not.

ward will be a hard guy to defeat these days. froch is a pretty marginal guy who happened to stumble into the bigtime due to circumstance. i am heading to the mythical matchup section to create a froch matchup

I'm picking Ward to win but Froch can give him problems. Ward and Froch are roughly the same height but the reach difference is something like 4 inches. This means Ward has no other choice but to come to Froch.

On the outside I pick Froch to have success. I think he'll be able to jab and keep Ward lunging in and perhaps catch Andre with an uppercut.

    "However"

On the inside it's all Ward. Froch's long gangly arms will work against him here. When Ward's on his chest or inside his reach it will be ugly. Froch will complain about holding etc.

I think it's a boring fight in spots...dirty fight in others.

Very interesting fight, looking forward to it. I won't be surprised if this ends up being Ward's 'coming out fight' & he unexpectedly dominates.

Neil and LoadedGloves are intelligent people.....but the mention of certain fighters brings out their stupidity in droves.
