Thats what I was saying........it reminds me of Danny Williams corner for the Klitschko fight. All wrong. You need ONE man in charge, the rest are SECONDS. Contrast that with Jimmy Tibbs in the opposite corner. John Rawling talking good sense again.
3-0-1 Saunders from me. Eubank seems like a talented kid who would be much better if he had some experience. Right now this looks like too much of a step-up for him. Gonna be a long night, it is 1.40 AM here
Eubank not looking so fucking proud right now. He is in a right hole now. It could be made that he is 4-0 now. Problem now is that Eubank has been told to go out and beat fuck out of Saunders.
these announcers are really on this saunders fellow balls. He's been really ineffective, yet they act like he's ddominationg outrageously. This is a lot closer that they say it is
Not really.....they are alluding to how Saunders is doing the better of what little work is being done. Point in case from Barry Jones there......."not a lot really going on, Saunders doing the best of it".
I was waiting for it :: I think Eubank really really has to go for it now. He needs to go out there and let his hands GO. I have not given him a single round. Now he is throwing low blows.
Agreed. If he knew how to box he would have this guy out of there by now. But he's a clueless charmless automaton who relies on being able to browbeat and bully bums.
Saunders problem now is that he is a bit tired and a bit ragged. I expect Eubank to come on now in the next few rounds.
This 8th round is the first round that Eubank has won clearly....he is beginning to pick it up. Even at that, he missed a load of shots, seems to lack stamina and was tagged a few times.
I hope the judges are giving some credence to the defensive moves of Saunders. He's made Eubank miss a lot. Eubank reminds me a bit of Arreola in the Klitschko fight, as Manny Steward pointed out that Arreola was generating a lot of excitement but not really doing a whole load of work. Saunders is making him miss and landing a few. Eubank is making a lot of noise but he's not really really doing a load of dominant work. I think Saunders has carried this round. Eubank got in one big left hook but Saunders off balance made it look better than it really was. Saunders round.
Both scored well in the ninth. Eubank landed a couple of good ones, Saunders rallied and did damage, Eubank landed the biggest shot of the round. I believe Saunders might be a head but I haven't been counting anymore and it is close. This has become a good fight, but I still maintain that Eubank has more talent of the two
He has the greatest potential of the two, and as the stronger man, will probably go further, but Eubank Jr is not a patch on his father, who was himself a limited fighter in some regards, particularly punch-output.
Eubank Jr.....its a good left, a good right...per round. Simply not enough being done, simply not enough volume. Gotta give BJ Saunders the 10th and now I think Eubank needs a stoppage.
Yep. Not once has he been called on it. He feints and rushes his man into the ropes. Then clinches and batters him to the kidneys and back of the head.
