I really think in my mind that since I believe Fury is a British Ray Mercer, that Ngannou was his Marion "The Jackhammer" Wilson moment (should have lost to a sub-.500 guy, and then the very next fight, gives Holyfield a competitive match, and then the fight after that gives prime Lewis all he can handle) and he's gonna be emboldened by being in the ring against a guy half of Ngannou's size who was out-boxed by Shawn Porter. Assuming he doesn't show up coked up and fat he's gonna rag-doll Usyk

    BTW weigh-in starts now:

  4. Dog Jones

Dog Jones WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

194 lb. Sergey Kovalev on the card

  5. Dog Jones

Dog Jones WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

    Super Mario Breidis - 199.1
    Jai Opetaia - 198.1

Still on the fence with this. I think Usyk can give Fury absolute hell and can outbox him. At the same time I can also see Fury spoiling his way to a victory and using his size advantage to slow down Usyk. If the fight is competitive enough I see Fury getting the benefit of the doubt and winning the decision. Usyk’s best chance is to totally school Fury or to stop him.

    Usyk - 233.5 lbs, he's fat
    Fury - 262

  8. I hope Usyk knows what he is doing weighing that much. Jesus Christ.

    Was usyk 223 or 233?

Hmmm that is quite heavy. Am assuming it's to counteract Fury using the size advantage but I think that might have been a mis-step by Usyk.

Oh fuck, Foreman just picked Usyk. Now I'm not as confident. Maybe I'm way off, but I still think Usyk gets a close one.

Fury will eventually grind him down. Usyk has gone for bulk hoping to set traps and take advantage of Furys good but not great chin. To this end he is heavier but will sacrifice mobility.

I cannot get over Usyhks historical vulnerability to the body attack.

He's the same weight as he was vs Joshua and dubois

I know I said Usyk and I rarely change picks last minute, but I do now feel Fury probably stops him late.

I hope Usyk wins but Fury has a big physical advantage and can have great fighting spirit when the stakes are high. I pick Fury but I’ll be very happy if I’m wrong!
