I just watched the replay of Rios-Antillon.

And while Gamboa has a different style, he can't run forever from Bam Bam. Eventually,he's gonna be forced to exchange and I just don't see him getting the better of it. Especially once the fight gets into the middle rounds where Gamboa has a tendency to slow down and shut off. Rios will keep coming with the non stop pressure and Gamboa's stamina will be put to the test like never before. At a weight he has never fought at.

Rios overrated or not, I don't like that fight for Gamboa at all.

    Same here Puerto.

Let me say if they were the same natural size, like if Gamboa was also a big, natural lightweight, I would pick him to beat the shit out of Rios.

But Rios is one of those fighters that you have to be a similar size to beat, unless you have Hopkins/Floyd level defense and ringsmarts.
