WIth this revelation, i feel one of them will now die for sure. Likely Dany.

  2. I'd be rather annoyed if one of them dies...but with GRR Martin anything is possible.

Martin has nothing to do with this. The show is way ahead of the books at this point. But there will be a Red wedding type massacre soon.

  4. GRRM Martin is still being consulted on this.

They better not keep massacring the good guys. People will be pissed

Martin hasn't finished his book, BUT he did gave the GOT producers/writers an outline of the big events he conceived for the storyline resolution. So while it will not be 100% Martin's story, the major event and character's fates and ending will be all like Martin will have in his book.

Have you read the books? Many major events are different. The producers have said that while they consult with martin, they still generally do what they want to push the story long forward.

Well I am sure that if Martin doesn't kill Daenerys in his final book, HBO will not go ahead and kill her as it will piss the crap out of hardcore bookworm Martin fans. The differences between the books and the series have been regarding characters role in the storyline, not major events. All the major events have been presented so far, except for the Lady Stoneheart subplot which honestly was dumb beyond belief.

Pretty sure you havent read the books based on what you are writing. There are HUGE differences. For one, at this point in the book Jamie has long since left Cersie behind. Also, Ramsay never married sansa, he married Ayra disguised at Jeyne Poole. Hell go back further. Robb's Wife is still alive in the books and potentially so is Rob's son.

Ramsay isnt dead in the books. Neither is Walder fray or Stannis Baratheon. And biggest of all is Aegon Targaryen is not dead.

again, like I said, those things you pointed out are differences in the characters themselves and the roles they play in the story, but the major events have been identical ( Ned Stark execution, Rob's war, the Red Wedding, The Purple Wedding, Arya's training with the faceless man, etc. Ramsey married a fake Arya Stark , but the rest (Ramsey, Stannis, Walder Frey are 'alive', Jamie away from Cersei, etc) is mainly because the series last two seasons have surpassed the books publication. Martin is too damn lazy to finish writing the books to 'catch up' with the show. Is not that these characters 'are still alive in the books, it is just that the show is now way ahead of where Martin last book ended. But Martin gives the show's writer the main plot he has for the events development.

    Great episode!

I won't spoil too much so I'll keep it vague.

Daenerys and Jon need to just fuck and get it over with. Targaeryns always bone each other anyway.

No Lannister pregnant twincest drama for this episode.

Arya really has it in for Sansa. I figure it's just some drama for the plot, before Arya adds Mayor Carcetti's face to her collection.

I had already got spoiled to the big thing in this episode because it was recommended on my YT, and it gave away what happened. It was in the title. ;) :crafty:

HBO did a shit job keeping things under wraps this season. If you really don't care about spoilers and want to know what happens this link has the all or the episode outlines for the whole season.

Do not click on this if you don't want to know what happens. Having read the books the spoilers don't bother me or detract from the experience but I know that not the case for everyone.

It was a good episode. There were some weird timeline issues but overall it was pretty awesome.

Most of my friends haven't seen it yet and keep having to catch myself before I bring up things from the episode.

Can't believe the season is almost over.

Because of the scope of these episodes HBO shortened it to just 8 episodes instead of 10. Things are moving fast and people traveling great distances in unrealistic short periods of time. Maybe there is a teleporting machine in Westeros?
