Who would you pick? I'd be pretty confident in a Garcia win again. Lucas was fairly competitive and game all the way through, but you still got the impression Garcia schooled him somewhat, and basically had his number. He just seemed like he overall, better, more well rounded fighter, and with a style that seems to be able to handle Lucas pretty well.
I would pick Matthyssee....that swollen eye help Garcia out late in the fight......a combination of punches and headbutts help close that eye...plus all the clinching Garcia did late...both were WAYYYYY overated before this fight....Matthysse more so...
Garcia beats Lucas in a rematch maybe by late stoppage. Danny will be even more confident and will give him another boxing lesson. Garcia is all wrong for Lucas, he has the skills, size and most importantly the CHIN to beat Lucas.

Matttthhhhhyyyyysssse ISN'T a Plodder or Limited Brawler, yet that's Precisely How Garcia Made Him LOOK...Garcia's STYLE, Chin, Defensive Wherewithal & Size are a POOR Match for Lucas...Garcis Didn't Break Lucas' Will/Spirit, but he Definitely DENTED it a Bit... I think it's a similar fight... Matthysse's bum eye is offset by Garcia's nervousness early on I figure we still get a close fight with good action... Garcia took some serious shots in the fight and he didn't go anywhere... I like him to again win a decision
I think it's a similar fight but Danny's edge in skill and ring smarts gets it for him again. Matthyssee is always dangerous and could end the fight at any time, though. Danny can't afford to get stupid... But if he keeps focus and stays disciplined, he should be alright.
Lucas is saying that the rematch is all but done. That's bullshit, his pride took a hit on saturday. Garcia was the best man.
Wow, 10 to 1, I thought there'd be a few more Lucas backers, thinking he could have won without the eye etc.
I pick Lucas....the first 6 rounds were close...Lucas mighta been ahead...the last 5-6 rounds...were not close but Lucas won at least 1 of them... Those who picked Lucas were soooo confident that he would destroy Garcia w/ ease..........they were 100% sure that Lucas would be victories...and now they are overcompensating...now it's Lucas who has no chance at victory...
^^^^Agreed that Matthyssee has a chance. But Garcia would definitely be the favorite based on what we saw.
