It can't be that difficult. I mean we all probably know some old, balding fatty who has had some amateur bouts and now works with a shitty salary as a bouncer or something, they will step to the ring for zero money

The Going Rate in Texas is about $800 for a 4-Rounder...But Given Monk's Name Recognition, it Wouldn't Surprise REED if Some of those Bums were Making $1,200-$1,500...Plus Travel Expenses, Hotel & Per Diem...

Monk's Fighting on Small Club Shows & Probably Makes about the Same + a % of his Ticket Sales...

Thats a decent whack. I wouldn't mind getting rattled in the face few times for an extra grand a month.

In Europe four round scrubs make about 500 euros (700 dollars) for a fight, at least the fighters from poor countries (Latvia, Lithuania and such). To them the fact that they get to travel outlands is bit of a reward itself

Well it would make more sense if all of them were 0-0, 1-0 kind of thing as it means they just basically brought the guy as a sacrificial lamb. All of his opponents are laughably bad but they didn't all just appear (i assume) to take a beating against George.

Does his team just ask local promoters for what amounts to a "garbage list"?

I actually did matchmaking once and, from the order of the promoter, I actually contacted a Romanian guy and asked for three crappy guys for the local guys in three different divisions, and he delivered quickly

For example there was a heavyweight who according to this guy was "not a puncher but a technical fighter", who actually was 5'10, 260 lbs Butterbean lookalike with zero skill.

There are several managers like him in Romania only, so I guess there are more guys like these than you could think.

RINGSIDEMIKE Told REED that Big George Brings Guys in to SPAR w/Monk 1st...From There, they Decide who's BAD Enough for him to Fight...Or, if he Shit Kicks a Guy in Sparring, they'll Look for Opponents that the Sparring Partner BEAT...

    No fucking way

I mean, why? Surely little big George has enough money, what with having a part in papa Foreman's business etc?

Does he get that much joy out of beating hopeless, overweight scrubs?

Two Foreman's in the sport, one a monk, the other, a rabbi. There's gotta be a gag here somewhere.
