    How would have Weaver-Cooney turned out if Cooney took on Weaver instead of Holmes in June of 1982?

    I know I've been hard on Cooney.

    But in this fight..if it had happened,...in 1982..I would have to say Cooney.

    Until an undefeated fighter gets defeated, imo they are as good as ever.

    Weaver wasn't particularly fast or skilled, just tough and had power and experience.

    I say Cooney would have starched him inside of five rounds.
