Yeah, from what I saw of the fight before it was taken down from YouTube, GGG was causing major damage and Brook was never going to get back into that fight.

despite breaking Brook's face, golovkin was even on two of the judges cards through 4 rounds. a third judge, apparently some canadian queer named Benoit Russell had brook up 3-1. i knew something was fishy when they had two judges as well was a referee from canadia.

I don't see how anybody could have Brook ahead after four. There's just no way. I could see 2-2 at a stretch but even that falls apart under scrutiny.

I can live with having the fight a draw, but 3-1 for Brook is disgraceful. Brook was decently competitive and landing his share of leather, but even then, it was pretty obvious he was getting koed sooner rather than later.

Indeed. With these situations it's hard to tell when the judges are being influenced by the crowd or if was biased home cooking right from the beginning. The former is more understandable but still no excuse for 3-1.

    In for a quick nibble.
So along with screaming their more favorable moments way out of proportion, the commentary broadcast their own scorecards as well? ...

We've come a long way from when Hatton and Joe would give the ref a good firm nod when they were done working in close. In fact, against my boy Sakio, Joe gave 'Ricky's ref' the look of a good supermarket tantrum :crafty:.
