Does Roman outclass him? Or does Darchinyan's awkward style, strength, and power pose problems for Roman? @George Crowcroft I'm not sure it's a walk in the park for Roman, personally. I think against a Watanabe, Moon, or Khaosai, Darchinyan gets fucked up, but he might be live against Roman. Roman didn't have the fight-ending power and physical gifts of a Donaire, even though he had superior craft to Donaire.
I think Darchinyan gets painted. He was a strong, rough-and-tumble guy, but he wasn't anything special. If he was able to keep up with somebody like Roman's feet, I'd have expected him to do a little better vs Moreno.
If that is the outcome, I would love to see it. I could watch rat face get pasted on a loop. Khaosai vs Darchinyan would have been especially juicy to watch - the rodent gets his brains bashed in.
I like Darchinyan vs Penalosa. They're both southpaws so Gerry's entire offensive arsenal is open to him, and Darchinyan couldn't spell defence if you wrote it in the question. It'd be a prolonged beating and incredibly embarrassing.
