Years ago I didn't understand the Arum hate, now I do.

It's annoying that Manny is a bit too stupid and trusting to have seen the writing on the wall. He should have ditched Arum years ago.

 

Prior to last night, I would have favored Valdez over Santa Cruz, but based on last night, I'd have to pick SC by decision if they got it on.

Valdez was kinda exposed last night.

 

Santa cruz doesn't hit as hard as servania. His punches are straighter than valdez, but he's slower and less powerful as well.

 

I watched some clips of Servania during the week, and he didn't come across as much a banger. I think what's more likely is, Valdez doesn't have the most sturdy chin.

Not that I'd pick SC to stop him, but he wouldn't have to. He could outwork him. Plus, even if we concede that Servania hits harder, SC definitely has more skill than Servania.

I remember when Valdez destroyed Gradovich, he looked like he was a gonna be a top 3 P4P guy one day. But he never looked that good again.
