Greater/Better: Azumah Nelson vs Mike McCallum

What say you guys?

I've got Nelson for both.

 

I'd say Mike for better. He impresses me more than Nelson. Very arguable for Greater

 

Nelson was more dominant over his prime, and over better guys.

From a textbook standpoint, I guess McCallum was prettier to watch, but while McCallum was jack of a trades, Nelson was a jack of all trades plus he had fight-ending power in either hand.

McCallum had better longevity, but I always ask myself who was better in their prime - for me thats Nelson.

 

mcallum was just way more skilled. definitely better imo. shame he didn't get a shot at any of the big names in the 80s.

 

McCallum was not "way more" skilled than Nelson. Thats a ridiculous statement.

Moreover, Gomez and Fenech were higher caliber fighters than anyone McCallum beat.
