One of the dogs died, which suggests there were others which survived. That would be odd for a suicide. Starting to sound like an accident but what circumstances.....shitty plumbing/venting....blocked flue etc. Just bad luck.
No. But while CO2 causes global warming and requires us to stop eating meat and tank the economy (and it still won't help), it is not poisonous to breathe in.
