Hatton / Collazo rounds 11 and 12

I had it 114-113 Collazo. I have no problem with it being a 1 point fight either way.

 

Folks are forgetting Hatton edged it and that at the time, because of his strong performance against Ricky a lot were picking Collazo to beat Floyd and a Cotto.

I had Collazo winning that fight, and by more than 1 point.

I thought it was a subpar decision.

Agreed. Hatton in my book(and yours as well) should have 2 losses on his record.

I don't actually remember the score I had anymore but , I do remember saying to myself after the fight that Collazo should win by a point ...

 

I don't think I remember ANYONE picking Collazo to beat Floyd or Cotto.

The best I remember is some people (including myself, admittedly) thinking that Collazo might give a good fight to Mosley when they fought, but that's all.

And once Collazo got owned by Mosley like he did, it pretty much reaffirmed everyone's original notion that Hatton just doesn't belong among the top welterweights.

 

He doesn't belong with the top 135lbers. Take away his cheating and hes nothing.

Im saying the top 135lb fighters. Juan Diaz would beat the shit out of Vicky if Jay Nady was the ref.

 

And if Nady would hold Hatton's hands behind his back for the full 12 rounds while Diaz was punching him Diaz might win by KO. Well, not by KO but he would take a close decision

And you sure make a big deal about "p4p #1" beating such a scrub, why is that? Why did PBF even waste his time (let alone 10 rounds of a fight) getting over him?

And he got PBF fooled too because he decided to fight him and train his ass off for him? I can't blame FLoyd though, since Hatton is ranked #1 in his division by everybody, there sure are lots of idiots around us.

 

Sure he ranked #1 because he was able to win fights by cheating and fight old inactive shot injury prone fighters.

If you remember rightly this fight was so easy for Floyd he even went on DWTS. If he got to the final like he wanted to he probably wouldn't have trained for Vicky at all.

 

So why did PBF have to cheat against Hatton by hanging on like a tree hugger for the first four rounds? Did he learnd that move in DWTS?

Hatton is a good fighter.. it's just Floyd is on a much higher level and made hatton look like a bitch hoe
