Just like living with a woman, when you actually work with someone you get to know who they are. In the two conferences she did with us she got into three arguements with the Star people. Girls a bitch. I'm not saying shun the fans, I'm saying make time for them after the media get their job done. But if the place permits for both of them to be there without clash than so be it. Even videographers and camera people from the media fight, to mix the public in makes it worse. Cupey
I'm a CEO. I sent my minions to handle it. Nah, I'm shot. I started my teaching job in the evenings so I have to work on my lesson plan. C
What is going to happen is after this fight, win or lose. Ricky will stick to fighting in Europe and he will say it was because his fans were screwed over by the fight being in Vegas. He will complain about G and say he is done with them.
I can see the latter playing out (and in fact hope it happens). But as far as packing up and heading back to Europe - he's done well in establishing himself as a draw in the US, where the paydays are undoubtedly greater. I mean, Calzaghe's been around longer, at or closer to the top a lot longer, and yet is "only" making $3 million or so for Kessler, the biggest challenge of his career and in the most significant fight in super middleweight history. This for a fight with an optimistic estimate of 60,000 or so. After the Floyd fight (and including whatever PPV upside he clears), Hatton will have probably earned more in his past 4 stateside bouts than Joe has in his entire carer. Ricky can head back home all he wants. But after a fight or two, he'll miss the paydays that come with fighting abroad (as in, over here).
