hatton - mayweather press conference pics

fuck that, it stunk. I don't often agree with Arum, but even in his biased bitterness, his take on that fight was 100% - they fought like two businessmen more concerned about setting up a rematch than attempting to win the fight.

Going on the low expectations I had for the fight, it barely exceeded them. Taking in the fight as a whole (especially watching a second time), it stunk. Plain and simple.

I won't even comment on the Baldomir fight, other than to say you have ridiculously low standards to walk away pleased with a fighter entertaining you - or even just holding your interest - for half of a fight (esp. when it was the second half that stunk).

I wonder if Floyd will trade more against Hatton. Seriously, people think DLH and Baldomir were some fucking giants that Floyd was facing and had to fight cautiously.::

I think in a way he did but eventually Floyd was so comfortable against those guys he could have taken more chances but was happy just winning a decision. :dunno:

I think against Hatton Floyd will have more pressure to fight him especially when they are about even in size. Again Floyd will be so much faster than him I don't see how people will justify just peppering him with jabs all night to a boring UD.:dunno:

 

Gatti fights different than Hatton though.

Optimistically, I think we can hope for a PBF-Jesus Chavez type fight.

I agree, Hatton clearly has the upperhand in this picture. So far, based on the 3 photos I have seen, Hatton has taken a commanding 2-1 lead.

As big a punk outside the ring as he is, ... Floyd Mayweather is about as unbeatable a fighter as there is in boxing today.

His style isn't exciting, he isn't interesting or charismatic, but.. basically, he is this generation's Roy Jones Jr.

The major difference between him and Roy is that Roy Jones is much more mature and intelligent than Floyd.

Floyd will beat Hatton easily. In fact, it will go down as his greatest preformance.

The styles predict this.

Go grab the video box of their early events and youll see. But, as for PBF, I agree he should have shut the fuck up if he wasnt serious about it, he looked like an idiot apologing one week later
