The infamous Fenech "Black Thai" nights fighting a procession of cab drivers and crab fishermen from Fiji and Thailand didn't help the boys' boxing seasoning at all.

If Vernon Forrest was Shane's first fight at Welter we would have said the same thing and been wrong. We can't base this on one fight. that's LUDICROUS. Perhaps Collazzo simply had a style that gave him fits.

Look, I work with weights and motors and frames {bike frames} all the time. I am most cognizant of the fact that weights and their placement can have a drastic effect on handling, performance etc, even with subtle increases, decreases, etc.

Hatton was in deeper against Floyd as Floyd benefited so much more from being able to come in at 147. If Floyd had come in at 140, then, sure, he would have been 147+ by fight time, but its not the same. Not even close.

Being a weight is one thing. What you did to be that weight is something else.

    Indeed.

Actually I think it was Hussy that fought Arce iirc. He was skilled as well, but was so outsized in that fight it was ridiculous.
