Klitschkos always box well. And look like shite, according to our esteemed David and his Sky/Setanta/BBC lackies.

Too true, too true, a boot-polish hope, as it were, with the usual thread-veined faced gentlemen a whitershadeofpale hanging, like dessicated tapeworms, from his anus horribilis.

    Sarcasm people.

On a serious note, the fight will probably play out like Jones Jr vs Ruiz. Not really interested in it.

I disagree with Haye having a better reason to run from Valuev than Dirrell running from Froch,.. Froch is by far a more dangerous puncher than Valuev, Valuev knocks out nobody,.. he's a feather fisted, soft heavyweight,...and the way Haye, after nearing a corner, would settle down and square up,..making Valuev slow down to begin fighting, range for range.. he'd use that oppurtunity just to kick away to another corner,..:shit::shit::shit: absolute, mastered bitch-fighting..

Im not comparing him with Dirrell though,.. Dirrell is irelevant,.. Haye is the 'refreshing heavyweight saviour' ,..supposedly incharge of bringing some excitement back to the pale face of the heavyweight division.

Haye fighting a guy 100lb heavier and 12" taller was aberrant. Wlad fighting like a bitch isn't.

    Wlad boxes.

Haye exchanges jabs to the body with a guy who has a wider turning circle than the Titanic.

    Yee-Ha.

Bottom line is Wlad stopped his last opponent. Haye didnt. By Hayes own "logic", that makes Haye a "boring" fighter.

It's a fair point, despite his size, Valuev is not a puncher. But still, he must be physically strong, and it's not easy fighting someone that much bigger than you.

Still, I'm not excusing his bitch performance, just saying there was more reason for it than Dirrell.

And no, Frock is not a puncher.

It was especially surprising from Haye, given the shit he talked about the heavyweights, and how much more exciting he is etc

If you're seriously saying Wlad is a more entertaining fighter than Haye then you're saying a very, very silly thing.

Yes, they do box well (that's why they are universally recognised as #1 and 2), and no, they don't look like shite... but they aren't any fun to watch.....that's the criticism, don't confuse it

But even on that level, you are being unfair....remember Haye was giving up a foot in height vs Valuev...i don't think the Klitschko's have found themselves in that position. They were special tactics for a special opponent.

Haye's been involved in many exciting fights, far more thrillers than snooze-fests (vs Ismael Abdoul was probably the poorest spectacle of all of Haye's contests).....i don't think you could say that about either Klitschko brother.

You obviously never saw Wlad fight Ray Mercer. Or Calvin Brock.

Fuck it...his loss to Brewster was more of a tear up than most fights.

Vitali is never in a bad fight. And dont mention Johnson, because it takes two to get it on. Vitali has very entertainingly beaten the shit out of some name people down the course of his career. I mean..."wow, that guy might leave the ring under his own power" kind of thing. Like Wlad, his loss to Lewis was entertainment guaranteed.

:lol: Did you see his fight with Larry Donald? Or with about 35 others bums he fought?
Vitaly's one of the most boring fighters ever, and couple of his fights that are more or less exciting are because of his opponents (Lennox and Byrd), who, incidentally, knocked him out.

Stopped, knocked out, TKOed, whatever you want to call the situation, where a fighter is unable to continue the bout, due to the punches, inflicted on him by his opponent.

John Ruiz has never been Stopped, knocked out, TKOed whatever.

Punches were never inflicted on him.

    Just one punch.

So he can say he was never stopped. I like it.

:dunno: Ruiz has certainly been stopped in his career. Once. At the hands of one of the hardest-hitting heavyweight punchers of all time.
Vitaly also has been stopped in his career. Twice. One of those stoppages was at the hands of one of the lightest-hitting heavyweight boxers of all time. :bears:

Danny Williams, Sanders and Sam Peter all looked like they might have needed an oxygen tent. Fuck it, Lewis "Won" and they had him on a ventilator.

Okay. You thought Ray Mercer being beaten to within 1 inch of his life was boring.

Guess who didn't? Me. Guess who else didn't? Ray Mercer.

Wlad/Mercer was fun, and Wlad was far from boring that night.

Was Mercer older than 45 years old in that fight?

The Sanders fight started off brightly, the Williams fight was very one-sided - a drawn out formality, and the Sam Peter bout was very poor even by the recent standard of Heavyweight title contests. Vs Lewis was by far his most exciting fight....infact, the most exciting heavyweight title fight of the decade.

But generally with Vitali you know what you are gonna get, an efficient, systematic performance in which he gradually breaks down his opponent over the course of several to a dozen repetitive rounds.

I have nothing against all that....as a boxer, first and foremost, your duty is to beat the opponent you have in front of you. He's very good at that. But in terms of excitement, i'll take Haye over Vitali everytime

I find it exciting to see people being sent into early retirement.

    And you have not seen all of Vitalis fights....he nearly killed a guy in defence of his European Heavyweight title {a title Haye never fought for, with good reason}

Watching a one sided beat down of a 42 year old man with ZERO two way action is boring. Certainly it is when you do it like Wlad does with 1 and a half eye on self preservation throughout.

The majority picked Mercer to stop Wlad, based on Mercer blowing out nobodys like he was supposed to, and citing Wlads loss to Purrity. I was shocked by Mercers performance that night.
