HAye didn't do shit either. He just leaped in, threw a few shots, waited for the other guy to fold, which he duly did. There was nothing of any major quality from Haye either. He showed up to fight, that was about it.
Not to say it wasn't the right thing to do, but if Haye didn't bother with a "feeling out" process he could have got Fraudley out of there in the 1st. The Tyson of the McBride fight would be 50/50 to knock his ass out.
For once I agree with potatohead Ian Darke. Even if Fraudley is usually negative, couldn't he pull out the stops for a fucking world title fight?
Harrison's total lack of effort must have surprised even Haye. The thing is that when Audley pawed the right jab, it landed. Harrison just never ever showed up. That has to be the end of him now.
Don't these guys have any sense of embarrassment? I would be so mortally offended...at least fucking swing, or charge, or do something. Produce some scintilla of effort and passion. Flail, flurry, do something. Harrison did nothing. Nothing at all. How many punches did he throw? 12? 15?
I feel so bad for Sprott, who busted his ass for years in the sport, and didn´t get this opportunity, because Fraudley landed a lucky punch, when Sprott wanted to finish him for the fans. Sprott would have deserved the payday. Hey is Tony Thompson still in Manchester. Maybe they can make an impromptu fight. Reporter: Was it a great fight? Henry Maske: There was no fight. :laugh11: The funniest thing Henry "stick up the ass" Maske ever said.
That was beyond pathetic. Harrison had the chance of a lifetime and threw precisely ONE punch. Haye did nothing worthwhile and yet did plenty enough. Absolute garbage of the highest order. I feel sorry for any poor cunt who paid for that shit... MTF
Yeah he deserved it more no doubt, so do most heavyweights. Have you ever seen any fighter do quite as much "nothing" as Harrison did in a title fight? The only person I can think of is Junior "The Shitter" Witter against Zab, but even he might have thrown more than 3 punches a round, and at least he was running constantly rather than just standing there ::
2230: Audley Harrison does not stick around to do any ringside interviews as he leaves the arena. Not for the first time in his career he leaves to a chorus of boos. Harrison had his big chance tonight but he did not land one clean punch on Haye. Is this the last we will see of Harrison? From the BBC. To think....guys like Martin Rogan now have meaningful wins over a man who fought for the heavyweight title.
Wasn't that obvious by the way he fought. Tall jab right hand robot grab. Repeat. Hope to be taller than opponent
Well Kevin Johnson came pretty close, but he at least tried to duck punches on defense, while Fraudley couldn´t even be bothered to do that.
True. For all the talk of Lewis being a "master boxer" he was actually a pretty fucking basic pattern fighter as you say.
Yep, Johnson came close for sure, but even that wasn't quite as much of a non effort as Fraudley. Even Johnson's ducking and The Shitter's running beats Harrison's doing literally nothing.
He is literally incredible. How a man with such an ammy pedigree can be quite so bad, over such a long period of time, defies belief MTF :shit:
I mean seriously. He did absolutely nothing but take shots. It looked as if he threw the fight or something.
Exactly. Lewis was indeed a master boxer since he outboxed pretty much everybody in his career easily. Audley is not a master boxer since to be a boxer at all you would need to extend your arm at least once
No shit. The dude found a formula that worked and made him one of the best in history. Shameful, huh?
On this form Haye gets battered by both klits. Worst fight in history. £15 to see that pile of shit. On a brighter note. Manny was bad boy!
No bad blood now between the two after this according to Haye. He wants to take Harrison out for a drink. That's all Haye needs, a pissed Harrison saying to him ''YES I CAN'' all over again.
For the first round yes, but what people forget is that after that Hakkar actually settled down, tried his best and got up of the canvas. Of course he was totally inept as a challenger but in the end he did his best. Audley's performance was on par with Ricky Frazier's challenge of Roy Jones
