Good post other than the first sentence. MMA is getting way better, but that doesn't mean that Chuck Lidell isn't awful.
i have seen mma fighters with weaker stand up skills than chuck not do a punch that stupid, same dumb ass punch that got him ko'ed from jackson. He didnt throw that shit against Silva. Im not sure if he looses focus, or he so used to fighting wack ass wrestlers who that shit works on, that when someone whos got any stand up skills keeps catching him, i dont think he spars with people with any kind of stand up. Because that dumb shit should have been fixed after jackson rolled him up.
I watched the fight live and I must say that in the first minute or two as the fighters were circling the cage, Chuck looked every bit his age. His footwork was atrocious, he looked like an old man in his movement while Evans was on his toes. I think Liddell is physically finished.
same chuck that beat those guys in the past, didnt u hear the pre fight, they saw it in his eyes. and he was beating the shit out his training partners.

exactly. You wouldn't see an amateur boxer with 6 weeks gym time getting tagged with the shots Evans and Rampage KOd him with. It boggles my mind how that bum ever got so far, I honestly can't work it out. A boxer who can't box with great sprawl....doesn't add up.
.. no doubt if you went to any boxing gym in the country and a trainer saw you throw that shit they'd tell you never to do it again.. thing is.. Chuck has heavy hands and could land his sloppy haymaykers againest wrestlers and guys who have NO stand up defense..
I'm not even talking about the KO. I mean, even if he was 10 years younger, he'd still get KTFO. My point is, the dude looks f*ckin' OLD with the way he moves. You can tell he's old as fuck when you see him circling the cage, he has no bounce, he's totally flat and deliberate. Kinda like how you can see the difference between Holyfield's movement in 1988 compared to 2008. If you get my point.
Liddell always had sh*t footwork and movement but it's even shitter now. So he went from bad to worse. While those around him are younger and improving.
It was even funnier the way the announcers were all over his great stand up. Wanderlei must be shot bad to lose 2 rounds to Chuck. Prime vs Prime Chuck leaves the Ring or Cage in a body bag vs Wanderlei.
