Hopkins vs Jones final predictions.

I just hope Roy doesn't plod around after him, and if he does,.. he's got to fucking stay on the fringe,.. if he can do that, he shouldn't have alot of problems but my guess is that he's too stupid these days to absorb how others have beaten Hopkins arse before in the recent past. Stay on the fringe Roy,..stay on the fringe.

Hop will win but you're talking about a guy who was KO'd in 1 in his last fight.

Well no one concedes that Jones fought a very green Hopkins... Hopkins had 21 pro fights and no organized amateur career to speak of when they fought so I could give a fly fuck whether Jones lost his last few fights or not as long as B-Hop kicks that ass.

Hops is older, and better than Jones. If Hop had anywhere near the pedigree that Jones had or started earlier, we'd never even have this conversation. Hops is and always will be better than Jones.

 

That is the work of a great corner. Get the fight stopped, while your fighter is ahead, when Juarez gained an unfair advantage by constantly leading with his head.

Based on both fighter's recent form, Hopkins should win. But it would be something if Jones was able to pull off the upset. I've never been much of a Jones fan, but I find myself hoping he wins because it seems like he had to appear totally gone before Hopkins would fight him.

Why so angry?

Considering both guys were at the same stage of their careers when they first fought you're right that I don't accept Hop was green. Either both were or neither was.

Now? Roy has been KO'd 3 times. Beaten 5 times. He looks in shape but he hasn't been near his best in along time. Hop on the other hand has bloomed later in his career and is still dangerous.

Neither guy should get much in the way of credit here either way.

No the reason I like Hopkins is because he's a great fighter. Man I've liked him forever. He and Hagler are my two favorites. If this was Tarver you'd have a point, but it's not.
