I repeat: You had BETTER be at the fight on Jan. 26th. And don't give me that "I was looking for Tito's mouthpiece underneath the canvas" excuse when I have problems finding you afterwards.
Of course I'll be there. Who's going to drive you, Jake, Reed, and Xplosive to visit Roy in the hospital. I can't wait to see the expression on your face when Roy checks out :: C
I'm gonna take this opportunity not only to agree with you, but to point out something my brother posted on Planet Roy before the first Tarver fight, and got crucified for... "My official prediction, Tarver TKO 2." As horrible to watch as Tarver is, he's got the right tools to give Roy problems, whenever they should fight. I really Hope Roy tries to rematch Johnson, so he can get beaten into submission again
You may not believe me, but I picked Tarver to beat Jones the first time too. In fact, I was pretty impressed by Roy in that bout. I never expected himt o dig deep like that. But I knew he was gonna get his ass handed to him in the rematch. In fact, it took me months to watch the second bout - I couldn't watch it live. It's funny watching Roy now. As big a fan as I was, I really have begun appreciating what he did for how long he did it. Truly amazing.
Yeah, hanging around in the weakest division fighting police officers and school teachers for as long as he did was quite astonishing.
The schtick is getting tired, CUPEY. Who has Tito beaten since he left 154? Part-time car washer William Joppy? Or full-time pinata Ricardo Mayorga?
Truth always hurts son. Tito beat the former WBC light middleweight title, WBC and WBA Welterweight Champion, the Former WBC Middleweight Champion, and the former EBU middleweight Champion. What can you say about Roy after being KO'd twice? Not much right.
Don't have time to do the whole boxrec thing:: but weren't the wins you just posted for tito before he got KTFO by Hop and manhandled/dominated by Wright?
correct. Now follow the thread an you will see I'm replying to IMDAZED's question about who Tito beat after leaving 154lbs. Any more questions? No? Bye bye
Here's the recipe for Roy to beat Tito. Straight right hand. Move to the side. Straight right hand. Move to the side. Repeat x 300
I agree, but for different reasons. Roy doesn't have much left to continue fighting legit LTHW's. But a blown up retired welterweight is a good fight for him at this stage. Roy puts a beating on Tito, not because Roy has so much left, but because Tito is in the same boat.
