I thought Brook was more impressive against Porter than Thurman.

Yeah, I don't get it either. He's had the win over Porter and the no hoper fight against GGG and aside from that he's fought almost three dozen nobodies. His title defenses were against Jo Dan, Frankie Gavin, and Kevin Bizzier and only Bizzier was a rated opponent they could pass off as a mandatory.

Hopefully it's at Bramall Lane. That's where he was supposed to fight Jessie Vargas before that fight fell through. The football season will be over by then.

I think that Dan was a mandantory alo. Anyway, him and Bizier were two no hoppers.

You're in the minority. a lot of persons had Porter winning against Brook or a draw. ONly person who had Porter winning against Thurman was his father

Pac is semi-retired and he'd never fight any of these guys so there's no point speculating.

He probably still has enough left in the tank to beat Cherry Garcia, but it wouldn't be a sure thing like it would be if Pac were prime. Danny Gift would have a legit chance.

Brook held Porter a lot and frustrated some viewers who pretended it was close but he definitely beat Porter easier than Thurman. Thurman looked like he was fighting his ass off to maintain a lead where as Brook was pretty much in control the entire fight.

Don't mind, Double. He'll defend that bum Porter through thick n thin, purely because of the Ohio connection.

It's Porter who makes fights ugly, not Brook. And Brook beat that bum clear as day.

You've really turned into the most biaised and delusionnal poster here. You always let your emotions on a fighter decide whether he won or lost clearly.

Lol at Brook beating Porter clearly. It was a close ugly affair.

My like/dislike for a fighter has NADA to do with how I score a fight.

Spence is my favorite fighter. When Spence and Brook fight, if hypothetically Brook wins and Spence gets the decision, I'll call bullshit and say Brook got robbed.

I don't dislike Porter at all. He has an ugly style, but he seems like a legitimately very cool guy. His DAD, now that guys comes across as an ashhole, but Shawn seems cool.

I just don't see Brook-Porter as a closer fight. Brook landed by far the cleaner punches throughout, and controlled the tenure of the fight.

    TURNED INTO?

This is a guy who predicts Wilder to get knocked out (BRUTALLY) every time because apparently he dissed Tyson in an interview a few years back. :palm:

You are the king of lies.

Other than Stiverne I've never picked against Wilder. I'd pick Joshua over Wilder, but I definitely wouldn't be certain about it. Wilder has a legit shot at stopping Joshua.

It's true though that Wilder isn't very good, and I said so PRIOR to him disrespecting Tyson.

    But continue with your lies...

REED Was @ their Very 1st Session, but They've Probably had 1-2 Since...As Robert Brand Put It, "You Normally Have to Pay $59.95 to See a 'Super Fight' Like This!"

It was INTENSE...You Could Fucking Hear a PIN Drop During the Session...NOBODY Said Shit from Either Corner, Except Derrick James, who Actually Worked Charlo's Corner that Day...He Gave Errol Water, but that Was It...

Derrick's 2 Main Pitbulls Finally Sharing the Ring....They've Kept a RESPECTFUL Distance from Each Other When Charlo 1st Hired Derrick, but Given Charles Hatley FREQUENTLY Switches to Southpaw, Derrick Decided to Finally Match His 2 Dogs Up...

No Spence-Broner Moments, Neither Man Dropped, Staggered or Hurt, but 8-10 Closely Contested Rounds...

Biggest Thing that Stood Out to REED was Charlo's INABILITY to Land Shots, Consistently...E.J.'s Defense NEVER Looked Better, from what REED's Seen...And it Didn't Really Affect his Aggression Either...Charlo COUNTERED E.J.'s Southpaw Jab a Time or 3 in the 1st Round, but by the 2nd, Spence Was BARELY Getting Touched Anymore...

Charlo was as COMPETITIVE as Anybody REED's Seen Spence Spar w/but JUDGING the Session, You've Have to Give it to Spence by Close, yet CLEAR UD...

And Bear in Mind, Spence Had Been In/Out of the Gym (Waiting on Kell Brook to Vacate or Make an Offer) When this Took Place, as Opposed to his Customary DAILY Gym Rat Ways...Damn Good Session Though...REED Was HONORED to Be There, but Unfortunately, There were No Startling Revelations Worth Spreading Internet Rumors About...

But Again, They've Sparred @ Least 1nce-2wice More Since, Which REED Wasn't Privy To...

    thats pretty interesting, thanks.

charlo is not a great puncher but he's a pretty solid technician who has a good jab. if spence was not getting hit much thats a great sign. the one weakness spence seems to have is he gets hit with the odd clean shot here and there against the lower caliber of opposition he has been facing. i mostly chalked it up to him being overly aggressive and looking to take these dudes out as quickly as possible.

Brook has to hurt Spence EARLY. If he can't, the British crowd is gonna be pretty depressed in about 7-8 rounds.

If Spence handles the Brook right hand well, then I see him breaking Brook down.

I think the early rounds will be tense and cautious, and then Spence will turn up the heat in the mid rounds and either force a stoppage or beat Brook up down the stretch to earn a clear UD.
