How to rate Bradley & Witter?

Bradley kind of reminds of Mosley where he seems to be more brawler with a slight mix of defense rather than a pure boxer. He's not as talented and lacks pop so I don't expect him to go far, but he's a good gate keeper.

I never really noticed how horrible Witter's style was. That god awful pawing shit he does with his jab or when combo's are thrown at him he keeps his chin straight up in the air and reacts very ameturishly, kind of like Hamed did. He seems like certain styles will give him trouble, namely anyone that can deal with his power and isn't a total bum. I'm glad he lost because dude is one of the worst eyesores in the sport. I'd rather watch Spinks fight.

I always thought Hatton would destroy Witter and that witter was nothing all that special, I also found Bradley to be a real likeable guy and was hoping he could do it.

I see Hatton beating either guy

 

I was not impressed with either guy. If this is the top of the 140 pound division it's not doing so hot right now.

Malignaggi is the best 140lb'er right now. I think he beats everyone. Hatton included.

 

Junior produced a POOR performance and I was shocked.

I just can't believe he was so poor, just terrible.

He is a choke artist, I agree.

Being green and all that just isn't an excuse for zab anymore, you'd think with witter's big increase in experience and confidence the chances of him choking would be very slim.

But yes, he bottled it again. He was basically intimidated by bradley's speed and skill, and energy/aggression etc, and he fuckign bitched out, you could see it in his face.

Witter did what he had to do against Zab. He had two options, stand and fight and get Ko'd, or get on his bicycle.

Something was up against Bradley though. And maybe it's that he got old, I don't know. But he had nothing left from the 10th onwards. If he was such a bitch why didn't he quit?

Do you also call Roy a bitch for his effort against Tarver in the third fight and his post fight interview "I'm happy I lasted the full distance, even though i never tried to win the fight".

 

Witter fades late, and it didn't help that right about the time he starts slowing (the 6th) he got dropped and couldn't get anything going after that.

The one judge who scored it for witter was on crack. In no way did he deserve to win the fight even on one of the cards.

I'm not arguing that point. Of course, Reed is trying to make it seem that way.

Simply I am saying that if Witter is to be labelled a "BITCH" by Reed for his performance against Bradley, then Roy must also be labelled a "BITCH" by Reed for his performance against Tarver.

Witter has had hard fights before. He was in a tough one with Kotelnik and was exhausted but went out and WON THE LAST ROUND (After losing the previous 5 on my card), and won the fight by a point. He has shown heart.

When has Roy ever been down heavily like that and gotten up to finish the fight?

 

Roy Showed "Heart" N the 1st Tarver Fight...He had a MISERABLE 10th Round, Sucked it Up & WON the 11th & 12th...

You take the Witter vs Bradley fight, where I think Witter showed heart actually to get up from that heavy knockdown and fight through his exhaustion, and you call Witter a bitch for that.

So therefore by your own logic ROY is a bitch for his performance against tarver where he was happy to go 12 rounds and lose a decision comfortably.

What HAS TO BE CONSIDERED is what happens WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, and I'm afraid Roy's talent just delayed the going getting tough. The fact that he wasn't overmatched with 9 days notice like witter was DELAYED THE GOING GETTING TOUGH.
