Matt Hughes, as much as I despise him....is a great MMA fighter. Fantastic strength, good standup, great GNP, good chin...and underrated grappling skills. He beat a verry good fighter in GSP, and in Newton, and in Trigg. To do what he did against Trigg in both fights should secure him as one of the best in the UFC in their history. Penn completely owned him....and, if there is a rematch, and..if Matt beats BJ, his legacy is on like Donkey Kong. Frankly, I think that BJ Penn simply has the style and skills to beat Matt Hughes. GSP could do it as well,..but it will be a hard row to hoe for either one of them:holla:
No way do you know MMA if you really think Bruce Lee has a chance against Hughes. Heck Hughes beats Lee in 1 round!:sportif3: Jean Claude Van Damm or the other hand takes hughes out via ballet head kick!
Bruce Lee INVENTED MMA, Ian. He was preaching all this crap back in the 60s while everybody was going out and doing their tae kwon do and karate and crap. Bruce would be deadly in MMA. Only problem is that he's not a fan of the rules. Because MMA is more of a sport now than actual no holds barred fighting which is what Bruce's element was. Look at all the rules you got in the UFC. No eye gouging, hair pulling, fish hooking, low blows, stomps in the face, etc. It's almost a pure sport. Bruce wasn't into a sport where every facet of his game couldn't be used. Ok, you got me down on the mat, how about I just stick my index finger into your eye socket and push really hard?:jester: That's how it is in the real world. That's what Bruce is all about. You don't follow rules on the street. :holla:
Pitt, what are your thoughts on Hughes Cock? Hanzy said he was looking at his buldge and didnt see much there?
