You're saying I have to post a vid now rather than at the end of the year. If you don't understand that you're trying to change the term of the original bet (which was to post a vid at the end of the year), then I don't know what to tell you.
Apparently, when you use dumbells, you only bench :notallthere: ......and since they ain't shit and you are strong......ah, this is getting ld:
Wrong. I can definitely lift a heck of a lot more than you based on what you've posted. You want to prove it. Show me. After you post your video, I'll go out of my way to make one and show it. :dunno:
No, it is clear what you were doing. You want to change the original bet, which was to post videos at the end of the year, and instead you want me to go out of my way to make one now. That's pretty clear.
The original bet stands. Since you have a tiny head, I am doing this for motivation, I thought you would take this as motivation too
No, you shit talked way before that. You wouldn't shut up about how daily training is bad and that LOK and I were wrong for doing it. You had nothing positive or constructive to say, so you just went out of your way to be a horse's ass. THAT was the beginning of the shit-talk, and STILL I tried to let you off. You went out of your way to start it, so finally I started right back.
You can't even admit when you're flatout making stuff up. Now you're trying to confuse the issue intentionally. I didn't say anything about dumbbell curling 120s for 6 reps, and you were claiming that if I didn't do that, in addition to doing flyes with it for 6 reps, then I was a liar. Man, this is definitely getting old. You want to see a vid of my lifts now? I'll prove I've been doing what I was saying with regards to squats, deadlifts, chins, and power presses. You want me to change my weight-training routine around to accommodate your lifts, then you get to wait a bit. You're not willing to do any of the lifts that I do, so if you want me to show you up, then I have to do the exercises safely or else what is the point? :notallthere:
So you're 36 and you want to box cruiserweight? You want to turn amateur NOW? Good luck, heavybag! :: :: You're telling me you're 36 years old, and the most you can do is 50lb dumbbells for dumbbell flyes right now?   When did you start weight-training? Last week?
Are you fucking this up intentionally? I want to see the technique you use so that you can't come back after I post my video and say that I didn't do it with the form that you use. Are you really this stupid as to not understand this?
I stand by it. I think you are at a greater risk to get burnt out. I also believe you can get close to the same results working out less days a week, so it is really of no benifit. You have already demonstrated you were in another thread you think you need a day off. I hope you do this all year, and I hope I play some kind of role in pushing you to.....in which I plan on doing with you to get me to :dunno: Can we get back to shit talking again? This room just got gay.
This is the part that is actually really funny. I've been accused of having a large head, which the vid will show probably. Heck, I could post a pic of me right now. I'm definitely bigger than average. :dunno:
Hell no, I used to lift alot more when I was "prime" and wanting to be big for the ladies I haven't worked out for over a year. The only reason I quit, I got real sick.
It's obvious that you wanted to do this from the get-go. Now that you say so, we definitely can. 36 and you use 50lb dumbbells for flyes, oh, and you want to box cruiserweight. You're gonna get lit up like the Times Square Christmas tree. So where exactly did I say I curl 120lb dumbbells for 6? ::
Beetlejuice doesn't have a large head :nono: <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BQ-0jk1xL8w&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/BQ-0jk1xL8w&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
So you don't believe you can get back to your tiptop form in strength? Now you're REALLY gonna call me fulla shit because I squatted 425 for 6 reps today when I drove to Kingston to hit the gym with an old training partner. He spotted me on it, and I admit I was about 3 inches above parallel, but then again I haven't squatted that kind of weight in 12-13 years. Heck, back then, on a whim, I picked up the back end of his little shitbox car with a couple of kids inside. I KNOW I can get back into that kind of form. I train for it and I eat specifically for it.:dunno: Earlier I was kinda pissed, but now that I hear your particulars I can see that you just don't believe it. I'll make up some vids in the next few months before my baby is born (a month or two because I'll probably get my old training partner to film while I lift) to show that I do what I say I can do. :dunno: I got no problem doing that. That's cool by me. :bears:
I'll post it. Normally I don't do heavy bench because I do standing power presses with 185 for 15 reps, and I want to go light on decline, flat bench, and incline because I do chest on shoulder day and I'm trying to spare my tendons after the heavy presses. I use really light weight in some exercises and bang out the reps. You might not believe me, but I can definitely get 120 reps with 45lbs on the bench, and that is after doing the heavy shoulder presses. :dunno: I just didn't like being called a liar because I train really hard, wanting to be at my all-time strongest when my son is born in a little less than 3 months. Today I was doing sets of 8-10 in the chins with a 25lb weightvest AFTER I did my squats. Today was legs and abs, but I wanted to show off the weightvest so I brought it down to K-Town with me. I train really hard. :dunno:
I'm sure after a few years of heavy lifting, I could do what I did in my twenties, but that isn't going to work LOSING weight  twenties it didn't matter how much I weighed. A little over a year ago, on the dumbell side of lifting......I didn't go over 60 pounds because I was having trouble maintaining 200. My diet was working, then it plateaued. It was obviously from lifting too much, so I didn't go over that weight and was able to finally hit 200. But using 60's, I was in shape and still relatively strong, compared to not lifting at all.
Ugh, why do you still think I am talking about benchpresses when I NEVER was? WTF tiny head  If you do 120 reps with 45's doing butterflies, I will be impressed.
Dude, I said I would be glad to post what I normally do. I have no problem with doing the other stuff, like heavy flyes, when I have done flyes for a little while so that I can do it without fear of injury. Also, I posted that since I can do 300 flatbench, 120lb dumbbells aren't that hard to believe. I don't do them right now because there are only so many exercises I can fit in at lunchtime (I've had different weight-training priorities like standing powerpresses), but I'll get on the flyes and definitely do the heavy flyes at the end of the year. :bears:
No, I don't want you to change your routine. I just thought you could show us since you were making fun of that exercise. If you do 120 reps with 45's that will be good enough still  How much can you do curling with dumbells and how many reps now? The reason I ask, I need to see where you should be at the end of the year since you have no weight limit.
To tell you the truth, I don't know because I don't do curls with dumbbells normally. I use the E-Z curl bar or the straight bar. I haven't done a lot recently. Maybe 10 reps with 100lbs because the biceps aren't as important to me as the chins. I know I could use 60s for dumbbell curls with good form though. :: But I don't focus much on biceps. I'm there for the strength, not the showy pretty biceps.
What do you do on the EZ curl then? Do you do that on a preacher bench or free form? I do not want you to do anything different, just seeing where you are at for a standard.
Standing free form. The 45lbs for 120 reps on the bench was the Olympic bar though, dude. It's not 45lb dumbbells, but I'll start doing flyes at night to get my tendons used to the dumbbells going out sideways instead of just up and down with the straight bar.
Yep, my first phrase said standing free form (for curls). The next sentence clarified what I do on the bench press because I didn't want you to think I was saying that I was using 45lb dumbbells for 120 reps because you said that 120 reps with 45's would be good enough. You said that 6 posts up.
I want to see some clips! you put some up too Turdy! I been meaning to record one but just havent yet.. sometime this week for sure!

To stop the next post, NOTHING to do with chest :nono: I will ask you another question in another post to avoid confusion :: <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
