I'm gonna see if I can get a few clips made this weekend. The hard part isn't the weights. It's recording everything and then figuring out how to put it all on my computer to upload to a media dumpsite. I'll put a link up for everyone though. I'll have to probably put links up three weeks in a row because I only get down to Kingston once a week or once every few weeks, and it'll be my ol' training partner filming the clips while I'm lifting. I'll have to dig around for the tripod and camera stuff. I think I might have a remote for it...if it still works. We bought it to record our wedding 5 years ago and I never use the thing.::
I see, thought you were saying 45 pound dumbells since that's what we have been talking about, not 45 pounds on the bar  So you like high reps with low weight? I really don't understand why you are going opposite of what you were talking shit on, maybe a detailed explanantion is in order :dunno:
What kind of software do you have? Haven't you done anything on Utube? I will see if they can do it on photobucket, I was thinking you could but I'm not sure....
No problem. I do heavy weight with a few lifts to build strength and power in them. For other lifts, I already have power and mass, but I want tone. Thus, for chest, I do high reps with low weight. For selected shoulder exercises, I use high reps with low weight (laterals, upright rows, bent over laterals), and for standing powerpresses, I use heavy weight. For deadlifts, squats, and chins, I use heavy weight: Chins: weightvest plus my bodyweight of 220lbs. Deadlifts: 315lbs for 10 reps, though I can get 15 reps now. Squats: 405lbs for 6-10 reps. This week I did 425lbs for 6 reps, but I wasn't down to parallel for that weight because I'm getting used to it. Most everything else, I go up and down in weight to shock the muscle and get tone.:dunno:
Powerlifting is 1-5 reps. Toning and such is 6 reps and higher. Powerlifting involves a lot of sets of 3s, 2s, and 1s. I rarely do those because I want sets of 6-10 minimum. I guess it could be called modified power bodybuilding. I just do it because I like the achievement and pitting myself against increasingly heavier weights. It's therapeutic for my intense mindset.
What's up with that avatar :nono: Are routines are clearly different, but there should be a way to show we are continueing our routines, respectively.
Keep a training log here. We could start a new thread and call it "The Fightbeat Training Log". That way we can post what we do in sets, reps, and exercises each week. :dunno:
You're not a fan of Green Lantern? :: I took a quiz that said, "What kind of ring would you get?" and apparently I'd be a GL.
Not much different than uploading pics. You will navigate from "browse" and find your videos, then push upload :dunno: Did your computer come with any video software? I have videostudio, but it's a bit confusing for rooks because of all the bells and whistles.
Nope, we built it from scratch and everything is custom-made. I'll figure it out. At least I got a photo up.:dunno:
i didn't try for the max yet. i just did my regular sets. maybe this weekend i'll try for the max since i should be well rested then.
as long as you are not heavy benching too regularly, another thing I'd suggest is doing negatives with 300. get a feel for it on the bar, have a GOOD, STRONG spotter and or do it in the smith first.. but just lower it down nice and controlled.. I think getting a feel for the heavy weight really helps
